Nothing new, nothing bold

This movie didn't do anything original. The culture seems directly ripped off of The Expanse, American sci fi show based in the future where people who grow up in space are seen as the lowest class, people on earth suffer, except for the elite in their paradise. Except this movie doesn't bring any of it's political complexity and scientific mystery. And then the group chemistry seems ripped from Cowboy Bebop. Except this movie doesn't bring any of it's incredible background histories and groundbreaking music.

The music was unnoticeable. The characters were forgettable.

But the worst was the story. What even was the story? What was UTS objective? What was wrong with the CEO of UTS? Even the cure that the child got was *hand waves* nobody knows why but she suddenly has MaGiC PoWeRs ooooh~~ and then the final "gotcha" save of the crew, makes no sense in context as the director of UTS wanted to use that reactor to blow up the child because it destroys the nanobots... but she used the nanobots to protect the crew from the explosion?? Bwuuuh?

The produection value was nice, but that's about it. it's flashy, colorful , and completely empty.
