Again the director diminished the original story and replaced a story that would eventually achieve that with their worse vision. This would originally all be achieved regardless where I said "the original 1 keep a balanced progressing relationship going and when she was ready she would tell him her past". Regardless of the director showing the viewers anything, them wanting to show the ML her past is fine but through her disappearing again when it would be achieved regardless without that is worse than what it should've been.

Then the director diminished the original story, showing her past is fine but there are other ways to achieve that than abandoning the ML again. Obviously her trauma can create an unhealthy relationship dynamic but it's that it was originally better. It felt like there were 2 choices, the original 1 keep a balanced progressing relationship going and when she was ready she would tell him her past, or 2 forget the balance reset everything and have her disappear again so he can find out her past.

I was thinking about rewatching this because I forgot why I dropped it now I remember it's because he was severely wronged by the FL which never happened in the source material. But are you saying her disregarding and abandoning him for a second time is justified because it showed her backstory and past?

Why does this drama have a "Slight Romance" tag when there is zero romance, just one sided from FLs part?

Around 1:44 after the memory loss scene the FL visits a tree that says "The Late Lee Gyeong-Rok", then it get's confusing because she says I know someday we'll meet again hang on until then, they meet and then they replay scene of them meeting that the movie already showed 3 minutes ago. (Which was a visualization of Yo Han's book, which after the FL reads she says it's too happy at the end and he replies with "I wanted it to end like that") Then another dream/fantasy scene lol the Native American shit and that's it the end.

I skipped to the end and watched the last 10 minutes because I didn't want to waste 2 hours, and It seems that the screenwriter chose the worst of the 3 alternative endings of the novel

I watched a bit further from where I dropped the show because I really liked the show up until that point and I've come to rationalize the "intentional or unintentional flirting scene" as the FL not being serious in that scene and matching Lin Sui's energy as 30 seconds later she says "He's just pretending to woo me" after her friend says Lin Sui is trying to hit on her.

No I dropped the show the intentional or unintentional flirting poisoned the show for me anything after won't change that, thank you for giving me your pov though
