Rain was mad at Phayu, because Rain had such a strong reaction to being around Phayu, but Rain felt that Phayu was just playing with him, that Phayu didn't have the same intense feelings for Rain. So Rain bit Phayu as if to say: You don't have all the power in this relationship, I'm not worth any less than you Phayu. That's why Rain also said, I'm going to make you fall in love with me.
I don't understand why some people think Phayu asking Rain to be responsible, was a problem. It was maybe way too grown up and reasonable to be a realistic scenario, but otherwise such an adult thing to do. It's surely draining to be in a relationship with a person, who isn't in charge of their own life or know what they want from you.
That kiss at the garage with the thank you from Phayu, was sweet and the beginning of them being more or less on the same page about how they feel about each other.
Phayu is such a baby Dom testing Rain. -I don't like you using bad words Rain. -I wan't you to be successfull Rain. -How about a little reward for persisting Rain. -Come to me Rain. (the hug) -Good boy Rain. I'm in charge of how you can reach me Rain. I'm in charge of ordering food Rain. I'm in Charge Rain.
Basically Phay is saying: Let me be in charge, TRUST ME RAIN. And Rain is saying: I don't trust myself or you Phayu, not yet.
Edit. The way Phayu is so sarcastic towards Rain isn't working for me in this context. It reads too mean.
P.S. That spanking didn't really flow with the story. 🙄😂 As always, I'm a little worried, since in principal there should be concent in D/s also, and this is MAME who is writing. She doesn't seem to be a kink expert, but then neither am I 😃.
LOL at people obsessing over Boss. He really does have a presence about him. Another one that has that, even stronger I think, is Jeff Satur from Kinnporsche. I mean, people can be crazy good looking and still not have that extra charm about them that just draws you in. I have to admit, I'm really enjoying watching Boss in this show.
Thank you Dr. Judgemental for your concern but I am just fine with my enjoyment of fictional characters but you…
Mizuki Lea said "... and people are like uuuuu cute, just because it's two handsome actors and forget how horrible such situation would be in real life. Yeah this is not real life but whoever finds this adorable or romantic... needs help."
This is the part that reasonable people take issue with. It assumes that everyone watching this show is unable to recognise where this show is problematic, and thus they all need their head examined.
Watch at least ep2. It's worth witnessing this train wreck. Ep 1 was a masterpiece compared to it.
Could be I dont know. I haven't gotten past episode 6. I got bored. I do remember there were good bits, but some of it was silly in an unentertaining way and there were issues with the acting.

At least it doesn't make you want to weep with boredom and fast forward like Don't Say No and TharnType. It's actually kinda funny that TharnType could be that boring and that toxic at the same time.
Did Boss/Phayu bite on somekind of fake blood capsule before that kiss, is that part of why the kiss felt off? So closed mouthed to keep the liquid in? Was the bleeding really needed? He moved smt in his mouth before the kiss, you can see it. The whole kiss, I don't know how I'm supposed to read it, it was odd. Was it just bad acting and directing or was it trying to convey something specific?
Otherwise, the show is a bit silly, and I think I'm here for it.
Mame is a Thai author who writes for Thai readers, and they seem to like her books. Sometimes, Thai fans seem…
Hi Not a Robot! You said: "It isn't the general BL audience because only those who can read Thai are able to read her books. It's the Thai readership who have elevated her works to be popular enough to be made into live action series." Obviously that's true. You also said: " Sometimes, Thai fans seem to like things foreigners don't care for. I'm sure if Thai readers read some western fiction, they would hate it too."
I was simply pointing out that the issue is not strictly speaking Thai versus West, it's Yaoi versus not Yaoi. When you are consuming kink, you are supposedly aware that's what it is kink. With MAME and specifically her filmed works, people aren't all that aware of what tradition the product comes from. Kinky versus mainstream etc. The way some of the kinky Yaoi bleeds into the mainstream and is consumed by people who are clueless of the intricacies, is what makes it kind of harmfull and annoying, especially when it's related to a sensitive subject like lgbtq+.
I have zero interest in being morally superior to anyone. I'm not kink shaming, nor am I advocating for people to stop reading and watching. If anything, I'd be advocating for people to be MORE AWARE of what they are consuming, TO UNDERSTAND the whys and wherefores. When I say personally rapey Yaoi annoys me, and I want it gone, the statement does lack nuance, I guess. Though, it doesn't mean I'm about to start a book burning club or want to ban it. 😁

Criticising things that you don't like is to be expected, and is as normal as criticising things that you do like. How is this hard to comprehend...
