Rain was mad at Phayu, because Rain had such a strong reaction to being around Phayu, but Rain felt that Phayu was just playing with him, that Phayu didn't have the same intense feelings for Rain. So Rain bit Phayu as if to say: You don't have all the power in this relationship, I'm not worth any less than you Phayu. That's why Rain also said, I'm going to make you fall in love with me.

I don't understand why some people think Phayu asking Rain to be responsible, was a problem. It was maybe way too grown up and reasonable to be a realistic scenario, but otherwise such an adult thing to do. It's surely draining to be in a relationship with a person, who isn't in charge of their own life or know what they want from you.

That kiss at the garage with the thank you from Phayu, was sweet and the beginning of them being more or less on the same page about how they feel about each other.

Could be I dont know. I haven't gotten past episode 6. I got bored. I do remember there were good bits, but some of it was silly in an unentertaining way and there were issues with the acting.

I was simply pointing out that the issue is not strictly speaking Thai versus West, it's Yaoi versus not Yaoi. When you are consuming kink, you are supposedly aware that's what it is kink. With MAME and specifically her filmed works, people aren't all that aware of what tradition the product comes from. Kinky versus mainstream etc. The way some of the kinky Yaoi bleeds into the mainstream and is consumed by people who are clueless of the intricacies, is what makes it kind of harmfull and annoying, especially when it's related to a sensitive subject like lgbtq+.

I have zero interest in being morally superior to anyone. I'm not kink shaming, nor am I advocating for people to stop reading and watching. If anything, I'd be advocating for people to be MORE AWARE of what they are consuming, TO UNDERSTAND the whys and wherefores.
