The restaurant may or may not have cctv, but there definitely will be in that movie theatre....and when the police guy and Tou were speaking, and he told Tou that the police could not move in without leads that were strong enough, I was naturally expecting Tou to request the police to look at cctv footage (from the movie theatre, or near the restaurant) to gather strong evidence to pursue Siu Yan...

I thought I was clear in the response above?.....yes, humility helps, in most cases at least.

The plot is still good but the script is being a bit of an anti-climax and did some one notice that complete lack of background music or ambient noise for this episode...I think they were really running out of budget towards the end

I was also wondering that Fei Foon went to that restaurant and movie theatre with Siu Yan aren't there cctv cameras anywhere in these places...Tou got the recorder device left by Foon with all that ingenuity and reading between the lines, but couldn't ask the police or use his own connections to get the cctv camera footage from these public places? That would have been a conclusive proof that Foon was with Siu Yan

lol....you are just being a tad too salty...ok, I give you that changing based on MDL comments is very unliely...but I wasn't meaning to say that the complaining in here is what made it happen...more like many viewers might have expressed the same opinion which made them consider it....

I am not sure if such last minute editing is possible for scenes with actors in them, but taking out some AI anime scenes and introducing some others, particularly given that these were still images with a voice over, may not be so entirely impossible ...also since that AI scenes were in episode 4 that aired in Aug end and this Sept end

Ep 8 - Very happy to see that they didn't use AI generated anime for flashback scenes like how they did in an earlier episode....I think our collective annoyance with that made an impact..yaaay!!!

I can so see why both the men agreed to deal with the perpetually smoking, severe looking lady gang leader only if they handed over Foon to them 😍

Much as I love the cast and mostly swooning over them, particularly Kingston, both episode 6 & 7 were a tad disappointing because the script looses its sharpness

In Ep 6 they make the whole Foon infiltrating the Ho clan and getting close to the top-lady look too much like a cake-walk...maybe they had to skip parts of the story because of time and budget constraints, but it didn't feel as convincing as this drama has been till episode 5

And now in Ep 7 that lighter saving Tou from a bullet fired from a gun with its barrel pressed against his chest - that was way too much to digest.... and then no one in that whole gang checked if he actually died before dumping him somewhere, where there clearly seems like there was no blood!!!

Since it was a given that the story can not have Tou die, I was thinking that they will make some of his own gang members, or the police invade the place and that is how he will be saved....I mean it would still be believable if Foon shot at him from a distance...but this was way too much fantasy to digest for a show that felt like it was aiming to be realistic 🤷🏽‍♂️

IMA still watch off course....but I really feel they could have done better

While the script seems to be sliding a bit since the last two episodes, I'm plain mesmerised by Kingston (Foon)..and those eyes...damn!!! I also just learnt that this is technically his debut as a lead actor...so even more impressed now !!!! 🥰💗

Ah, that show....yes, couldn't agree more....there's a lot of possibilities...while this drama has focused on the cute side of their story, it still has touched on serious social subjects on the sidelines, which could definitely be explored a lot more with the leads taking those on

Ep 10 is a melting sweet-pot and a heartbreaker, at the same time...why oh why did they leave us hanging like that for another week...I can't.....I'm so invested in them now....:(((

Absolutely agree...I was so pissed to see that AI part...how much would it cost in terms of effort and money to find actors who can convincingly look like their younger selves and shoot them? Or at least get an actual artist make the animations if it must be that way!

Ep 5- Shit just hit the fan...damn this was such a delicious, racy and hard-hitting episode....this is exactly how you pace a drama!! If you are still undecided, dont, just go watch..this is arguably the best BL drama airing right now!!

I so agree.....this is a stellar one...the leads, expressions, script, scenes, light, dialogues and the silences..... and the less-than-perfect ending that was not really an ending...💓

I so hear you...I also wanted to love this so bad...the story concept is fresh and then I waited so long to see Tongtong in a BL lead role...sigh

Yeah... he just reacted like.....you just took a spin in the laundry machine, no big deal.....I see that happen like all the time, no need for alarm or calling the police, etc.....I 'm here if you want to talk...meanwhile let me do my laundry.....like seriously!!!
