I love love this drama. It is a good watch except I think the drama will still be good even without that saintess details. The saintess details does not make any sense to me. My God, the women in this drama are all too beautiful and demure. I love the way that royal concubine speaks. It is funny and soft. That woman looked really spoilt and as though she has never known suffering in real life. Oh, the grand princess is extremely gorgeous. Lu Chuchu’s eyes are something else. Our male leads voice is so hot. I just want to hear him speak non stop. One thing though I did not like the white washing they did for the grand princess. It made nonsense. Why idolize a woman that evil after her death. That pissed me off so bad. Too many unnecessary details in the end but overall it was a beautiful watch. I recommend.
Please, I am convinced that no Chinese male actor is finer than the male lead. His face is a work of art. The only thing I watching in this drama is his face😭😭😭
Sorry, nothing can make me like the emperor’s relationship with cocubine yan. An old man with and underage bride will always be gross. I skip their scenes as fast as I could.
Done with this drama. Storyline was not strong enough for 40 episode. Still a decent drama by the way. Someone please recommend another period drama for me. Which one is currently the talk of the town?
Still buttressing my point. You understood perfectly why the ML had to lie for that long and it made perfect sense to you. But you can not understand why the FL who was lied to needed a great amount of time to forgive him and bury the issue. Bravo!!!

You are buttressing my point. You could endure 16 episodes of her being lied to but 10 episodes of IDGAF from her already got on your nerves. Do you know the magnitude of what he did?
I love this drama but at same time I am perplexed by the magnitude of understanding male leads get. I am in episode 16 and the female lead is living a fake reality created by the male lead, and there is very little to no outrage about it. If it was the female lead doing this to the male lead, the commentaries on the show would have been chaotic. See how they rubbished Royal Princess? SMH!!!
Also I know that if he confesses and she doesn’t forgive or she takes all the time in the world to process things before forgiving him, viewers will not give her the understanding they gave the male lead. They will drag her to the mud. The expectation will be to gloss over it and reconcile immediately. Nonsense!
