I really liked this drama (the mafia episode😂😂😂), but.............. it's not binge-watchable (for me), it took me 2 dog years to finish it...one or two episodes a week was enough.

I tend to avoid amnesia tropes, hate them with every fibre of my body, that being said, I do like me some Julia so I was gonna soldier on and you know what, I really was enjoying it because when XRR got amnesia I was like 'okay werk' BUT then SYS got amnesia too, then I was like 'fuck no' and started skipping to the end. The whole story is basically the other trying to make the other fall in love with them or remember them, dying for them and SYS being a d***...The romance needed a magnifying glass. ("It's more than that you're just hating" yeah yeah yeah😒 )

Most dramas are exciting in the beginning then drag on later, but this for me was vice versa and I think part of it had to do with the FL's lack of emotional depth in her acting (TO HER FANS, THIS IS NOT PERSONAL shoo shoo!). The rain scenes ⛈️⛈️☔, oh God, 1 minute it's raining cats and dogs, they turn the corner, BONE DRY...at least wet the ground.

Because when you have seen the beauty of these countries it almost seems unfair, but when you go to SK you realise that most people believe these things.

I see your point, but Europe, North America are usually shown in a good light... German doctors always cure everything, MC studied in Europe, MC grew up in the US, etc. When I saw "When the Phone Rings" I also said too soon, didn't bash the drama, but side-eyed the whole thing.
