In the first episode, ghost soldiers were introduced, and now 30 episodes have passed. I'm really eager to uncover the mystery behind them.

After watching 30 episodes, this drama just keeps getting better and better. Revenge feels so exhausting at times. it doesn't bring happiness anyway. It's heartbreaking that the marquis dedicated his entire life to fighting wars for the country, only to die branded as a traitor. I feel so sorry for his son. I despise Cao Eunuch even more than the marquis.

I’ve watched up to 14 episodes, and it feels slow paced. I like how the male lead isn’t invincible. He’s vulnerable and not some superhuman taking revenge. He has backing too, but I don’t like how many people are dying for his single cause of revenge. Maybe they also want to kill that man for their own reasons, which is why they’re supporting the male lead. The teacher burned himself, the villagers died trying to protect his identity, and so many people were killed for Zheng Hai. Without all this backing and support, he wouldn’t survive a single day.

This show keeps getting sadder and sadder, it feels like watching a melodrama. I haven’t caught up with the latest episode yet, but seeing everyone cry is just so heartbreaking.

I don’t dislike anyone in this show. I’ve seen people like Lee Chan and Yuhang, but my interest has definitely grown more and more in Zihan. He is so emotionally strong and probably the most normal, mature, and sane guy in the show. His composure and personality are truly admirable. While the other guys are nice too, they have some personality issues like avoiding problems, not expressing themselves, being passive, or overly active, but Zihan stands out as the most balanced one.

As for the girls, they also struggle with handling emotions, as girls often do, such as dealing with rejection, being indecisive, and unwilling to let go. However, I believe this show will provide valuable lessons for them when they watch it later. I think Luyuan’s feelings are mutual, which is why she seems a bit better, but otherwise, I think she’d be like the other girls.
This doesn’t feel like a dating show—it’s more like a grooming show to help them develop their personalities, lol.

18 episodes in and I am liking the show but the things that I don't like
1. ML marriage even if it was forced (after that 3 of them living together happily is a good thing but they make it look ok and friendly that after a while I thought the legal wife was better than the FL and deserved to be the legal wife)
2. prince An's harem, and the whole contraceptive issue—if it weren’t part of a drama or a fictional kingdom, it would have been a major crime in reality.

4. when FL tried to go back home, I was happy I was like go girl then she stayed (maybe I am the toxic one here)

You know a drama is truly a 10/10 when it gets you so emotionally invested that you start crying like a baby—not just a few tears. I haven’t cried in years over a drama. It was a masterpiece. I got so immersed that the characters felt like real people, not just fictional creations.

It got a bit confusing when the gangster scene appeared, followed by the bookstore closure. It took me some time to figure out if it was the backstory Rat was telling them or if it was happening in 1991.

When Lu Yuan mentioned that she rushed and was careless in her previous relationship, it felt relatable, which is why she is calm and taking her time now.

Yuhang seems really uncomfortable with Yifang, and I hope Yifang gives him some space. It feels like Chichi is confused too. At this rate, he might not end up with anyone, or maybe we'll see some sparks in the next episode. Fingers crossed!
I’m not sure if it was the way the episode was edited, but if she was upset just because of pouring soup, I don’t have much to say about it. Since everyone lives together, pouring soup seems pretty normal, I guess.

it’s high time for Lanlan to make a choice because both guys are so invested in her right now. She needs to be clear about it—it breaks my heart seeing Jiao bring her snacks every night.

I think it's better if he doesn't end up with anyone. If he did, I feel like they would eventually break up. I just don't get the vibe or feeling that he could have a long-term relationship with anyone in the cabin.

She is a loyal person; if she likes someone, she will instantly reject anyone else who tries to pursue her. People like her are rare to find, and I admire her for that.

It is a masterpiece because it has 12 episodes. If it had more, the pacing would slow down, and it might feel dragged out. The best thing about having 12 episodes is that there are no filler episodes.

I think episode 8 was their real backstory before the mailbox part, and I hope the story of the letter and all the other confusions will be cleared up in the upcoming episodes.

I cried uncontrollably through every second of episode 8, oh my GOD! Their chemistry is incredible. ZY's acting during the crying scene was amazing. This is definitely my favorite drama of 2025 so far.
