So I started watching Asian dramas out of curiosity, but I stayed for the humanity. Unlike many Western TV, Asian dramas often take their time showing how characters grow and change, rather than simply moving the plot forward.

IMPORTANT #2: If I drop a drama, that doesn’t necessarily mean I think it’s bad: 🤧

Bad dramas usually don’t make it onto my list in the first place—it most likely means the drama is simply way too long for me. Movies are a different story, though. If I drop a movie, it’s because I found it a bit boring.
