I have not watched episode 18 and 19. Have they broken up now or we are still getting a big break up soon?

I kind of prefer it like this. Longer episodes tend to lose focus and start adding unnecessary plot and twists. 24 episodes is okay as long as it is coherent and compact.

I will blame it on the 40 episodes max restriction. The Marquis was well fleshed out but little time was left to fully develop the last villain making the last few episodes feel rushed. I heard the restriction of 40 episodes max got lifted after this drama aired. They probably saw the impact of the restriction.

They do have enough material to work with for a season 2. We just need another well written villain to replace the Marquis.

It's becoming so unrealistic. They always come up with one nonsensical plot every episode. Just staying to see the romance. I have invested so much time and just have to see it to the end.

I was low key pissed off with her door mat attitude but she indeed got better around episode 13. Just hang on. The drama is quite interesting if you like character development and work dynamics plot.

I am happy both leads are transmigrators. At least there is hope for them being together at the ending. Hopefully they will not tell us one or both of them lost thier memories of their time together in the book. I hate all those "it was all a dream" kind of ending for transmigration stories.
