I think at the beginning their relationship is a bit toxic because Luke doesn’t know how to use his words nicely. But I also think that their relationship is actually the most perfectly imperfect relationship I’ve ever seen. And I’m so touched at how they were able to portray such a dynamic, I literally felt this show to my core. I’m not mad that they got back together. I think some people just don’t understand how emotionally loaded their relationship was and how it ended. For how loaded their relationship was and for how long it lasted, it must have felt like torture because all you can even think about in a situation like that is all the what if’s, all the things they could have done differently, and you see this person and love them so strongly for 6 years and all of a sudden it’s all over. It’s like getting your heart ripped out of your chest, watching it be torn in two and then they force a half back into your body. I think they perfectly illustrated what modern relationships can sometimes look like. Love is not like a kdrama, we are all imperfect people who come together to make do with our personalities. Zitao said yes to him because she chose to love his imperfections as well. Not because she didn’t know about them, but because she knew yes he had grown and maybe some parts of of him changed but others stayed the same, but she chose him in that moment. And what matters is choosing him everyday going forward. Love isn’t always peachy, genuinely people will get on your nerves but it’s up to you to make the choice to choose them, choose the relationship and make it work. Everyday. I think this was possibly the best drama I have ever watched.

Yessss. I was really excited invested in the spooky part. But I think they tried to combine too many tropes together and honestly it just felt unfinished to me.

I think you need a lesson on self awareness. You will not spin this on me with a victim mindset. You need therapy, your gaslighting , narcissistic tendencies are starting show. I’m telling you this someone who actually feels sorry for the people who have to interact with you in real life.

Their facial expressions at certain points were really cringey on my end. It felt unnatural and therefore misconstrued my perception of their chemistry. I feel like this was a very formulaic drama. More and more kdramas are starting to become less niche in the way the characters are develivered and the stories developed that everything just feels like the same flavor. So it was hard for me to grasp the chemistry

It’s not about no contact. It’s about how undecided the plot is, how their conversations actually do not flow. They had the chemistry to be friends, not the chemistry to carry on a mature romantic relationship. The whole engagement plot was a plot device to force a romantic relationship because if not for that, it would have been hard to convince us otherwise.

You see how everyone else was able to convey their side without being disrespectful? It is you that is lacking and it’s a pity that you feel entitled to speculate over my life. What’s even more pitiful or rather pathetic is that you have placed yourself in a moral high ground to tell me I don’t know anything. Perhaps it is you that does not know a single thing if you need to resort to insulting me to get your point across. They did not have any chemistry to ME. It was never about physical contact or anything. Kdramas have began following a formula and this drama was extremely formulaic, with 3 different storylines that made it seem like 3 separate writers were disagreeing on what to do. If you reply to my comment with your lack of situational awareness, respect, and regard for another person’s opinion then you better just not say anything. If you have nothing nice to say it’s better to not say it. Please stop poisoning the internet with your language and invest in some therapy instead. These are signs of narcissism, and you are trying to gaslight me into thinking this show was amazing. It wasn’t. It was mediocre, and nothing will ever change that.

I’m not gonna lie. The chemistry…is really low for me. I feel like it’s hard to create tension when the characters barely have any physical contact? Also the facial expressions sometimes make me cringe so so bad. So far it’s a 7/10 for me atm. It’s okay, not the worst not the best
