How is Lovely Runner doing in S Korea? I keep seeing all this talk about Queen of Tears, but the ratings are so…
Nielsen Ratings are low (4-5%) though there are reasons for that, I suppose. Compared to Queen of Tears (albeit, QoTs broke records right and left), LR's ratings are VERY low, but it has less famous actors and airs on Monday/Tuesday which is much less ideal than Saturday/Sunday.
Apparently the webtoon does, and while they've changed a lot from the webtoon, I don't think they'd change THAT. Besides, you don't give rom-coms sad endings. I think it'll be an open ending, at worst.
Also, it's so cozy seeing Sun Jae and In Hyuk on better terms in the new future. Both much more like their old selves. They also have convincing chemistry/interactions for the dynamic of friends who've known each other well for 15+ years. π₯°
The sound effects of dramas like this show they're embracing the cheesy. π It's part and parcel with the genre. But the second-hand embarrassment with this one has been STRONG, ngl.

Well, I rewarched to refresh; she was at the Joseon film set, remembered the deadline, and rushed to the bridge. Her watch showed 1:30am, so she just missed him, as he left after waiting an hour. She goes to check the capsule, then goes to his place, and that's when he drives by, so I don't know what he was doing, but he must have done something else. No one seems to sleep. π They're all up at like 3am. π

I know a lot of people do, but she was not his equal intellectually, and it bothered me. It was when they still wrote a lot of FLs kind of ditzy and dumb.
Why did Sol say she was there at the bridge but was late? The old Sol won't remember that, right? And I doubt the…
Original Sol did arrive before midnight on the 1st, but she got arrested and remembered while she was at the police station when she found out the date (if I remember right), and then she rushed over, but it was quite a bit later so he'd left by then.
I interpreted that scene as him trying to check up on her (probably quite often) and Sol finally telling him to…
Yes, @PandaDorama just pointed out that Sun Jae didn't see his face. Why'd it take so long to find him, though? She had the evidence! π
And sending him to jail again won't necessarily stop the future events. Once he gets out, just later this time, he'll still come back again for revenge. π€

Right! You're right, only the driver saw Sun Jae, not the other way around. But they had the keys and stuff, it took them a year to find hum and convict him? π€

Oh, that dialogue did not land for me from Suspicious Partner. π I thought it was so weird. I didn't care for that female lead much so I'm sure that didn't help.
