thank you, very helpful!!! Maybe post under the discussion section for more visibility?
oh good, I'm glad!

I need to do that, but I use the app most often and can't access that part of the page using the app for some reason so I haven't done it yet. I'll have to add it when I have my laptop out and remember to move it over there. πŸ‘

Not a huge deal, but it is kind of a bummer that the ML's sleeve isn't actually real. I feel like the perception…
That's because they very mucb ARE gang affiliated there (even worse in Japan), not like in other countries.

Title Castaway Diva Spoiler
Love Triangle? Male lead "Kang Bo Geol"?
This screenwriter is known for love triangles, but an added twist in this is, while you know the FL ends up with Ki Ho, the screenwriter writes it so that you don't know which brother is Ki Ho until Episode 8 (you might guess it beforez though; I did), so if you fall for the wrong brother (or picture the wrong one with the FL), then some people find this drama frustrating.

The answer to your second question:

Yes!

Title The Fiery Priest Spoiler
Our priest, Father Kim --> Vincenzo (both are not what they seem, with incredible fighting skills and clever…
Seeing even more similarities to Vincenzo (the way all the people around our ML (in Vincenzo it's the members of Geumga Plaza, but here it's Father Kim's parishioners) end up having mad skills that no one knows about at first and that finally get revealed and which come in real handy for the story (e.g. Yohan having super hearing while eating food, Song Sak being a private bodyguard of the Thai royal family, Sister Kim being a Go Stop/gambling genius, Father Han being a child actor, and Dae Yeong actually being quite clever and capable.).

There's also a vault with money in both, if I remember Vincenzo properly. πŸ€”

At Episode 14...

Okay, NOW we're talking. I'm finally bought in and have a team to root for instead of just watching Father Kim fight the world alone. This is more like it.😏

And that part when Song Sak, Yohan and Father Han are all pretending to be convicts in the transport bus? I was howling. SO FUNNY!! 🀣

"I Am Not a Robot" proves once again that the ratings on MDL are unreliable. I binged the series from…
8.3 is solid with almost 200,000 watchers listed, and ranked #27 in popularity. It means it's beloved by many. πŸ˜‰

It's a very fun drama and, apart from all the painful lying (and the ridiculous premise), the leads are ADORABLE. Love them both. It's just a bummer most of Seung Ho's other dramas are not very strong (I did like him in the Memorist, though--oh! And in Warrior Baek Dong Soo).

Is there romance?
Not sure, but I assumed there would be based on the premise and the actors in lead roles.

uhoh- i downloaded whole drama and just saw the reviews.. I'm just half way of ep1 and I'm actually enjoying it.…
If you find friendship, food, and people and their dynamics interesting (e.g. struggles they have at work, and challenges that don't have clear answers), you will probably like this. It's a character driven drama that focuses on friends doing life together in a law firm, not plot driven.

For instance, they portrayed a seasoned lawyer vs. a newb in the law profession beautifully, showcasing the tension of a bright-eyed, bleeding heart who lacks exposure to their craft against experience, expertise, nuance and the weariness of being part of a broken system while working with messy people. I found their work chats and intellectual tussles over meals really interesting!

It is so hard to believe that he was the second lead in Her Private life. He is fun to watch.
He was also a small support role in Descendents of the Sun, too (and Rebel: Thief Who Stole The People)! I think Itaewon Class was definitely his breakout role. Got tons of lead roles after that.

Is there a happy ending, and is the romance prominent or more in the background
Very slight romance. It showcases more as close friendship and trust than anything explicitly romantic. But the undertones are there. There's actually two romances going on (the one from the "past" is actually more prominent. πŸ˜‰).

I also kind of loved his "proposal." It was impromptu and simple (and sweet), and felt like one of the most natural interactions the leads had in the entire drama (the ML had to arrange the jot and tittle out of everything else, so it was nice to see something he didn't plan the heck out of πŸ˜…).

I also thought they showed the ML retiring from voice acting very thoughtfully. I am coming up on the end of a 10 year career and transitioning into something different, and I thought they portrayed the bittersweet nature of it (knowing it needs to happen, but still loving what you're leaving behind) quite well!

On Love Me, Love My Voice Jan 8, 2026
Now that I'm completely finished with it, I can say with confidence that at times the leads' chemistry is VERY good, and of course they are just stunning to look at. Tan Jian Ci is a wonderful actor who played this role beautifully, and Zhou Ye was also really cute (I loved her outfits that were reminiscent of traditional Chinese attire, but her "childish" mannerisms did get a bit cringier by the end, though).

It was so relaxing and calm, warm and fuzzy, with a pace that meanders at times which makes it feel more slice of life (like maybe WIFTY (for the character dynamics) meets Hidden Love (heavy romance emphasis and focus, with a sizeable age gap) meets Meet Yourself (gentle pace that follows a very simple, unextraordinary plot).).

The music is lovely, and everything is sweet and rosy, like a perfect postcard. And I won't lie, it succeeded in making me want to visit Yangshuo. πŸ˜… (Subway product placement doesn't lure me in, but apparently a whole city being used as product placement succeeded where Subway fails. πŸ˜‚)

I also enjoyed the little twist on their first online meet cute they showcased at the end.

All that said, my gripe from an earlier comment still stands, though (you can see below, but it has to do with how the ML treats FL like a dainty, delicate flower instead of a human being. I appreciate the gentleness, but one CAN go too far to the point of infantilizing your lover). And while I did enjoy all the friendship dynamics, most of the characters felt like accessories to the leads' love story.

And just keep in mind that while the slowness of every day life is reflected in this drama which makes it feel more realistic, nothing else about this drama portrays any sort of "real life." It's beautiful and ordinary... fantasy. πŸ˜‰
