They always portray the super rich people as super powerful. The richer you are, the more you can do.
However, when the FL is finally super rich, somehow people with less financial means get to stomp over her all the time. Why is she suddenly incapable of using the same means to protect herself or chase others who do her wrong?
I don’t know… it’s a good production and I understand why people would enjoy the action. But the logic is…

Then a thug being more powerful than directors of national intelligence. The agencies operate thousands of people, so why would they be scared of one group of gangsters? These gangsters can be rich, but they don’t have the same tools or legal power to do more than just blackmail their opponents.
If the story was only about North vs South - I would buy it. But some of the other stories are kind of distracting.
Note that the thing can influence politics and so on, but national security agencies operate independently and have back up tools to stay away from these people.

Honestly, I hate this narrative with the woman who gave her birth.
She abandoned her, ignored her, then blamed her and acted rudely towards her. Only to say that she was “back then young and selfish” - that was 5 years ago, you weren’t young then.
So to have her “forgiven” so easily is such BS. I would left her enjoy the fruits of her choices and keep that toxicity away.
It had a huge potential as a feel good show, but since the writers did zero background checks on how the industry works - I can’t fully enjoy the show.
My brain gets distracted by “wtf? This makes no sense” plot holes :(
I think that actors are doing their most, so I keep on playing it in the background. But it’s hard to finish it in one go

Yes, they have way more power and he’s missing resources. But if he just says yes to everything, keeps things to himself and allows them to stomp all over him - ofc they will keep on doing it.
He could’ve told at least to the journalist what was the reason for him leaving. But no, he allowed to the same person who killed his sisters bf and did other stuff to just take all credits.. and now the nephew as well..
