Watched the first few episodes, and binged the rest the next day (and night lol). Great as a comfort show, with a great message too ✨

I guess it depends on what you are looking for and whether you've been enjoying eps 1-4. Eps 5-8 mostly continue in the same manner as 1-4, though the other half of ep 8 indicates that the season is gonna pick up in pace and stakes, so I think it's worth to continue watching

You're welcome :)) Yeah, I think 14 is often a golden mean between 16 and 12 episodes; tho 16 episodes on s1 wasn't too bad, I think it was just right. Anyway, I'm gonna trust the creators that 14 eps is the right quantity for s2

Today's episode gives me hope with Jiwon tricking Junyoung in order to spend time with him lol Though I don't approve of the method 😅, I'm glad they spent some time together 💗

And btw, not Kyoungjin's girlfriend breaking up with him because she has been (apparently) feeling sidelined by "Isoo hyungnim" 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣 That one I didn't see coming. I wonder if they're gonna patch things up 🥺 I mean, I don't blame her lol Kyoungjin on the other hand didn't seem too affected by it but it may as well have been how he was able to cope at the moment. What's more, the guys are really not gonna believe him now that he had a girlfriend in the first place 😭😭😭 Though it seems weird to me, because I was sure Cho Hui, when she appeared in one of the eps in s1, turned up at the station as far as I remember 🤔 So it's weird neither Junyoung nor Isoo remember her. But maybe they weren't there, I'm not sure

Edit. It turns out it wasn't Cho Hui? Now I'm confused 😭 (I didn't watch Cheer Up, so I don't know Kim Shin Bi and Jang Gyu Ri from that; FxC s1 was my first Kim Shin Bi drama)

Yeah, true, I also thought that they would find out about the living brother's identity thanks to the autopsy and finding out that the one dead had cancer and was paralyzed. Then I forgot about it lol and I thought that Joo Hyera took the guy's can to check the DNA from the saliva left on the can, not to check for fingerprints. I guess checking the fingerprints would be quicker but it really was dumbfounding how they seemed out of options when there was no readable fingerprint found. I think I kind of got dumber as the episode progressed lol xd Well, at least the resolution was entertaining 😂😅 I think (or at least hope) that the season is now gonna pick up with the cases and the main case of Yu Seongwon down the road

I'm also really enjoying Hyera and Isoo's dynamic. It's really different than what he had with Ganghyun, it's much more subdued, and quite different in other ways too. Before, Ganghyun was the one who had prejudice against Isoo at first, and back then, at the start of the first season, he wasn't as mature as he is now, but now he also has much trauma he still needs to deal with. Here, Isoo has kind of been the prejudiced one, as he thought his "instructor from hell" hated him. But it turned out (for us, viewers, at least) Hyera really likes Isoo, even if only platonically so far. And as I said before, one could see Hyera's care towards Isoo while simultaneously feel a kind of distance from Isoo towards Hyera. I like how he has been gradually warming up to her. Yesterday's and today's episodes were really enjoyable in that regard (I mean, all of the 8 episodes had some crumbs for the fans lol). BTW Sorry if I'm just spitting the obvious stuff here, I'm kind of writing this for myself too as to recap the first half of the season

I was also a fan of Isoo and Ganghyun, and that must have been one of the reasons I did a 180° on that ship at the start of this season, I was bitter lol To both sides of the fandom, I plead guilty ✋ (But also, as there are some excellent examples in previous comments, such as one by @watch dohwan, there's no need to have "sides" here. Let's enjoy this season!)

All in all, 8 eps in, I must say the creators did a great job. Still 6 eps to go, but I must say thay Joo Hyera's character, both the writing and Jung Eun Chae's portrayal, is top notch ✨✨ Not to mention Isoo's comeback with his Team 1, Chief Park, and all the Gangha Police Violent Crimes Department! I'm so glad this second season came to life and I'm very grateful to all the cast and crew for that 🤞🤞 Here's to the second half of season 2 and possible season 3! 🤞🤞

I agree that it's creepy and suspicious (and as viewers we are able to see much more how messed up he is or at least seems to be *shudder*). And we all see it is personal for her, as you said. But now I also know where Chief Park's warning came from: how such thing can ruin a detective, when personal stuff clouds one's judgement.
Well, in my eyes Yu Seongwon is guilty but I'm only a viewer of the show and it may as well all be a red herring xd Anyway, today's ep, or rather the second half of it gave me the creeps 😬

I like how Joo Hyera likes Isoo and enjoys his antics but simultaneously is able to set boundaries (as when he arranged for the three women to beat Park Jaeha up xd) and mentor him (as when they talked in the bar)
