@W two worlds Season 2 sc
And also:
She is alone "during one month, and as a result, comes back stronger"??? Have we watched the same episode?? Her coming to the conclusion that she can't be Hyeri does not change the fact that she's in pieces, man! Have you seen how and why she was found after that one month?? Because she run the hell outta there, terrified, exhausted and covered in blood! Her terribly bad mental and emotional health doesn't just disappear once she comes back! That must be why she fell back again into her ex's (even if not intentional) trap. Because she's so vulnerable and low on herself right now, because she's starving for acknowledgement, for acceptance, for love but most of all for identity. Because she knows now that she can't abandon Eun Ho and become Hyeri but she doesn't even know who Eun Ho is anymore. So even if Hyun Oh can give her affection or affirmation, those will again become her identity. And if he stops giving her those, she will fall right back into the abbys of depression.

I admit I may have been too hard on Hyun Oh if I ever stated that he's the main cause of her state. I don't think I ever did state that, but if so, I step down. I believe their relationship being unhealthy is not fully their fault, neither her or his. But what is important, and what I've been trying to convey in all those comments, is that it is unhealthy. And only one party at one time (Eun Ho saying "no" to him when he asked her to be sick) was aware of it and willing to let go. Why let go? Because a couple is a couple of people. Both parties have to work on it for it to work out. If one is not aware of the problem and won't engage to work through it, it won't get solved.

So their relationship will keep being unhealthy (if it changes in those 2 episodes, well, good but it's a wasted potential anyway and it doesn't make it believable)

No, what some people find hard to understand is that Hye-ri is also a part of Eun-ho. A subconscious part that's…
Beautiful comment, very eloquently presented arguments... and yet again after they told us "it's just life", we lay out arguments and they hit us with "calm down dude, it's just a drama" ๐Ÿ™ƒ
Anyway ๐Ÿ˜…, cheers! ๐Ÿ˜Š

There is a difference between not being in a relationship and being alone. I'm pretty sure none of us thought her going to the forest completely alone in such a mental state as she was in was going to help her (not without cost, anyway).

But you can be single and do your own thing while also being surrounded by kind people, so you don't feel so lonely. When you do your own thing and rediscover yourself again, then you are (again) a functional adult who can take responsibility of their own life. I know something about it because I've been struggling with depression since my supposed transition from being a child to being an adult. And because of depression and other mental health issues it didn't happen. Through healing only (therapy, meds, proper sleep, diet, exercise, kind people, faith, finding my interests again etc) could I learn that, or rather, practice that and I'm still learning to take responsibility over my own life. And it takes time, effort, patience and support.
And speaking of the drama, because that's why I'm bringing that up, Hyun Oh can't give Eun Ho that support and patience because he lacks self-awereness and consideration of her feelings and needs (not physical but emotional - they are oftentimes more important and urgent than the former, until it's too late...).

If instead Eun Ho continued therapy, started taking meds if needed, tried to find a hobby, so she can do something apart from work (which she should resign from and maybe really start working at the parking lot: unstressful job, kind people), with or without other people, she could find her own identity again, which crumbled and fell into pieces when her loved ones left her one after another (Hyun Oh too). And with Hyun Oh reuniting with her again, he's again her identity ๐Ÿ™‚ It's. Not. Healthy. In real life it would injure her again, but because it's a drama, the writer can come up with anything ofc ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Well, after all of the "psychoanalysis" of the characters and the looming of an extremely unsatisfactory ending,…
Some people say here that HO and EH are both flawed. But I guess they don't understand and didn't watch closely enough to notice that his lack of communication, and no continuation of self-reflection (which is also barely there. He only felt guilt but he did nothing new about it) is exactly what was a big cause to her being sick in the first place! This guy didn't change A BIT through the whole drama, and believe me when I say, that once they're together again, he won't change either

Well, after all of the "psychoanalysis" of the characters and the looming of an extremely unsatisfactory ending, I guess what I have left is to wait for Shin Hye Sun's and Kang Hoon's reunion in another drama ๐Ÿฅฒ
And to be clear, the ending will be (most likely) unsatisfactory for me not because she didn't end up with Ju Yeon but because she chose Hyun Oh after all the hurt he caused her, when he didn't apologize to her ONCE in the whole drama ๐Ÿ™ƒ
I like Eun Ho very much and I just feel sorry for her that she thinks she doesn't deserve healing and a healthy relationship... I stated what I think about it all in many comments below and I'm tired of some people laughing at "Ju Yeon shippers" while they simultaneously don't take the time to read others people's comments about why EH's and HO's relationship is not healthy and it's going to primarily hurt Eun Ho, as it did before

I can't believe I made an account just to comment on this drama!!Watched episode 9 and 10. Took almost 2hrs to…
I totally agree. Moreover, after what JY said to her, after her hugging him I was sure she would choose him. Or at least keep him in her life, and take time to heal while JY could be the support she needed. Also, Hye Yeon could be a gal friend to her, and with the support of those two people (and possibly occasionally of Ji On too) she could heal, go to therapy and regain control of her life and the will for living. But no! Let's have her go back to the unavailable, on-and-off going, savior-like toxic ex who has no intention on working on himself and owning up to his mistakes ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค— What a healing ending!!!!! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ

@Ahjummai Oh my, the last sentence ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Seriously tho, I agree. You described in two sentences what I needed a whole essay on xD He's treating her as a pet, not as a human being with her own feelings, reason and will

A moment ago I posted a very long essay-like xd comment on why it's not really love. Strong feelings and acts of service, yes, but they don't sum up to love. Check it out if you'd like :)

Title Dear Hyeri Spoiler
Brace yourselves, this is gonna be a long one xd

What I think Hyun Oh's defenders are missing here is the difference between being imperfect and behaving in unhealthy ways. And the difference between behaving in unhealthy ways and being toxic.

The difference between being imperfect and unhealthy is that being imperfect is just being a regular human being. "Nobody's perfect"! But a human can still own up to his or her mistakes and try to fix what's broken and make amends.

What I think the difference between imperfect and unhealthy is that unhealthy repeats itself. It becomes a pattern. But still, if one becomes aware of it, one can act accordingly and (at least try to) change that. I think Ju Yeon is also a broken human being. He showed it many times. One might say that things he does or say are unhealthy (because maybe he e.g. suffers from depression too). The way he interacts with the world, and the way he responded to Eun Ho's revealing her condition. One may name it unhealthy because it clearly hurt Eun Ho and it wasn't right for him to do so. But I would say that yes, it hurt her and I'd rather he did not say those words and mean them. But also, he reflected on that. He started to be concerned about Eun Ho, about her as a person. He wanted to file the report of the person missing and he confronted Hyun Oh (honestly, of what he did himself at the time. Although I think, he was more excused to be like that at the moment, given he just learnt he dated a personality of a woman suffering from DID, never knowing if he should see Hyer Ri he got fond of ever again). So I think Ju Yeon has the advantage over Hyun Oh and it's his self-reflection followed by caring for Eun Ho's well-being.

The thing that irritates me the most in Hyun Oh is that he thinks he cares for Eun Ho's well-being but he really cares for his own image of it. He thinks, deep emotional wounds can be dealt with by being fed, warm and generally when physiological needs are met. But human beings are not only flesh. What's more, we also are flesh, so deep emotions and traumas really take toll on our physical health as this drama really exhaustively showed, thanks to Shin Hye Sun brilliant acting.
But if Hyun Oh would only notice it and would be able to change his ways once his aware of them, I would be fine with it.

The thing is, for the past 12+ years, as showed in the 10 episodes we got so far (and there are only 2 left), he confirmed to us viewers (and we have the advantage over Eun Ho of looking at it form a distance) the toxicity of his behaviours. The way he's been treating Eun Ho was not healthy but furthermore it was constantly not healthy! He went back and forth, abandoning her when he chooses and going back to her according to his whim!

Many say that he loves her. I believe he does think so too, and that he has very strong feelings towards her. But love is not only feelings. It's putting the other person first AND doing it healthily. If there is no other option, sacrificing oneself is the greatest love. But in everyday life it's possible to make little sacrifices on our ego or comfort to show love to the other person. In most cases it can be done healthily, not losing oneself, and making one happy too.

What I wanted to emphasize is that Hyun Oh thinks he's putting Eun Ho first. But he really is putting first his own IDEA of what's good for Eun Ho. Yes, he did many acts of service. Yes, they show his feelings for Eun Ho and that they are sincere. But his behaviours are toxic because he never, NOT ONCE in the whole drama took the time to think if his actions truly do Eun Ho any good and if they are what Eun Ho truly needs at that moment. And of course he never asks her about it (apart from food or whatever xdd) because why should he right?! xddd He knows what's best for her! (grrrr) He likes to think he does things because he loves her. But I really think through all those years he have fallen love with the idea od him being such a good boyfriend that he never thought about checking himself if he really is one. That's why his behaviours are toxic and by being toxic I mean he WON'T CHANGE if he gets together with Eun Ho again!!!!!

I'm gonna watch the remaining two episodes. But I honestly don't know what to expect at this point.

Agree... I'll probably be disappointed with the ending but I'm definitely sticking till the end. I'm glad Shin Hye Sun chose this drama. I could really relate to Eun Ho the way I could not relate to (m)any other FLs. She really outdid herself with this one ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฅนโœจ

After watching all 10 eps I thought we had to hate the ML because he is a toxic red flag but I don't think Ms…
๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ For real, like when you look at his behaviour for the past 12+ years, it doesn't matter he "loves her". He's been hurting her over and over again, and because of her own abandonment issues she can't let him go. I'm not mad at her as some stated here. I wouldn't call her names. I like her character and I just feel incredibly sorry for her. I believe she's got issues (even apart from her DID and abandonment issues she's got excruciatingly low self-worth which obviously ties to those other things) that make her mistake this toxic relationship with Hyun Oh for love......... ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ
