I read recently that communism is an import from Germany, it is utterly foreign to traditional Chinese culture. Ironic that the current head of the Chinese communist party criticizes a film that so beautifully portrays many of the foundations of truly traditional Chinese culture, as contrary to chinese culture. Or perhaps not. Just more CCP propaganda. Finally, history informs us of Chinese generals who were handsome, one so handsome that he had to wear a mask into battle to be taken seriously by the opposing army. A little research goes a long way to counter propaganda.
