I've seen him in two other dramas; both detective ones and his costars did a bang up job. I know this book supposedly has the same FL too but considering they deviate here and there, they could have changed that about her in the drama as it progresses because it seems everyone is growing and evolving and she's still stuck in same ole same ole land.

I’ve felt that a lot too. I do hope she gets better; because at the current moment talking with her is like pulling teeth. Yes, she lives a very sheltered life but if she can have normal conversations with her family and friends why not at this point with him and his circle? They’ve treated her very well. She says she’s 22 but talks like she’s 10. I’m waiting for that evolution already.

That’s the other thing; I don’t really care for xianxias either.

Those are just haters. I don’t pay any attention to them. He fits this character to a T I think. I can’t see anybody else doing everything he’s done, especially the comedic portion, since he’s very much a comedian himself if you ever even catch a glimpse of his live streams, whether you understand them or not he’s very self deprecating, kind of morbid sense of humor, which totally fits with this Drama perfectly.

I only watched c dramas and not K dramas so I watched all of TLB because I like the leads and him so it was a good drama for me.

I’m 5’9 without heels and I like heels lol. 6’10 is a bit much even for me lol.
