While that’s your opinion and you’re allowed to it; it’s not mine. This series issue lies with the plot or what they did with it rather. They had a great script, a new way of telling a story; instead they made something cringey and unbelievable. I don’t know the leads at all and therefore have no reference point. I speak from a creator’s and writer’s perspective. I just hope in the last 13 episodes, this derailed train will right itself.

That's the point, story and world builder is different. Those of us still on here, are talking about our frustrations with the plot. But then we see comments saying we can't do that or shouldn't and should just leave. That's unfair to us. Should every comment section be filled with ppl only loving something or intelligent debates about what we see wrong and inconsistent. Hence my original comment. As long as it's not outright attacks on actors or fanwars or other such nonsense, everyone regardless of opinion should be able to voice it, discuss it.

I don't believe in Douban ratings much either, because they don't bring the crazy ppl away. I enjoyed PA and Fireworks very much and gave high scores to both (I don't have access to Douban) and don't care what ppl say. But when you said, ppl should try writing their own scripts and creating their own dramas that's unfair. Of course happy ppl should do that, but plz don't take cheap shots at folks discussing storyline issues. Because from the novel readers, this was promising, but the deviation left many frustrated by the constant copy and paste of the repetition of the story.

People going after those critiquing the drama, be careful. While attacking actors or comparing them is an overall no no, if the story itself is lackluster due to heavy deviation from source material, it'll be noticed. It didn't get an opening Douban rating of 4.8 for nothing. As a writer/novelist who's written theater scripts and edited professional ones, I'm not talking out of my ass so plz don't assume everyone is the same. Everyone will have different opinions on writing; this is a fan site and we've got the right to discuss what we like and don't like when it's about the plot, storyline, etc. BL is doing a great job in KP but that story is engaging with a great plot. I look forward to seeing Dylan in something better in the future; which I'm sure he will. For now I'll still watch, but that's subject to change. If you love it, awesome but plz don't tell others what to do. Let's be civil despite differences of opinion.
