Why do I have a feeling the stage collapse had something to do with asshat Wang? He specifically introduced the client to him and told the client that SY was responsible for everything. Pretty sure; you really have to pay close attention to his character here. He’s all about protecting the Gong family. He wouldn’t kill an elder to get there. He just wants things to be fair. Yes he wants to be SW because as far as we know only he and big bro passed the three trials thing. His reactions to the deaths of uncle and cousin were genuine. His first instinct when the housekeeper released the smoke was to protect the elders. He doesn’t like ML because his background is questionable whether he’s a real Gong or not. Only a real Gong can be SW.
