Let’s hope they can work their differences out without her, pulling any more of these using him stunts and he needs to be a little less naïve when it comes to her. I have a feeling he’s going to try to keep his distance unless she calls upon him or something. But the fact that in her maniacal brain never even dawned on her that had he not gotten there in time and she had harmed the chancellor plus all the uninvolved nobles, there was no way for her to live (she didn’t even understand that all of that implicated her mother figure until the emperor told her a few days later.), and she would’ve never been able to clear her father‘s name. She’s the “do things first ask questions or permission later” type of person and I hope that she starts thinking a little bit more before acting as we are coming down to the wire with apparently one more case and then douche bag gets his.
If a male character in a show had just agreed to marry the FL, then gone behind her back to enact his long-standing…
I remember that show I actually did not agree with that majority opinion that he didn’t deserve her. He did deserve her, but he made a very foolish mistake, and it nearly cost him everything. In this case, I don’t know if she has yet to realize the mistake that she has made, and that it nearly also cost her everything including not being able to do what she’s been trying to do for 15 years and that’s to vindicate her father and her family as well as clear her name. Poisoning a bunch of unrelated nobles had ML not stepped in and said something would’ve at least had her imprisoned at the very least if not executed. And as someone said up above at the present moment, other than the confession of the villain, she has no evidence of what happened 15 years ago. Regardless of how spineless the emperor is, he can’t just kill someone as powerful as the villain just by gut instinct. So far he’s grounded him now comes the portion where evidence needs to be found and gathered alongside with whatever the last case is, we will have to see how it goes.
I just watched the red wedding and I have so many thoughts. First, people blaming the ML for stopping her revenge…
Some great examples here, Blossom being one of them. Well written; yeah emperor needs balls and not just for the bedroom 🤦🏻♀️. I don’t know about those complaining but I’m Team HJ; man was trying to save her and she was using him plus all that BS later; very much unnecessary.
Did the background music in this drama bother you sometimes? It was so loud i wasn't able to hear the talking.…
Yes, I stuck that into the cons (the only part of my review I wrote lol) not only did it drown out the dialogue, but it also obscured the characters faces in quite a few scenes. They could’ve placed the lyrics of the music up top so we could see the actors faces.
Wish my brain worked like it used to doesn’t seem like this review is gonna come out today either. Maybe later tonight but at the moment when your head is heavier than a boulder not really. ~sigh~
she wasnt smart about how she went about the act. right chancellor eliminated a prince , emperors brother and…
Agreed; people are too quick to call the ML a wimp because he didn't go psycho killer with her but what was trying to do was save her life. Time and again she's been too reckless. She doesn't have nine lives; why die with the man you've been wanting to bring to justice? To vindicate her father. If she was killed, all of that, her years of investigation, her mentors murder, none of it would have mattered but proven the villain right in his actions; that her father was a rebel and all that. From the beginning, she was preaching about evidence in each case, but she couldn't to that in a levelheaded way. HJ, was the level headed person she needed and needs in her life. Saving her from the confinement, etc. Now we've got 5 or whatever episodes to get concrete proof and take out the bastard. Against someone as powerful as this dude, you can't kill "on a gut feeling" especially as an emperor (regardless of how clueless he is). Villain dude meticulously planned the set up, getting evidence to take him out needs the same.
