Exactly. She's already shown him her trauma and was there for a bit of his (the guilt and remorse with the lost best friend and wife sitch); this is new for him too. He's thought of himself invincible hence didn't take care of the injured leg before things got worse. His entire life just got tossed up in the air without any real foundation or so he thinks. So it's not just about what he thinks she deserves or won't care for him, but his own self esteem and pride.

As long as they don't make this existential crisis last six episodes or more, we are golden. Because we still need to get a lot of rescues in. I think they start to live together at some point as the opening and closing credits show plus the other two couples so they can't really drag this on with only 36 episodes.

YGH and HHL’s character development began with them admitting out loud that they’re selfish and cowardly. Because neither agreed with it or thought of themselves that way. I don’t think XCS will do better to get back at them; I think he’ll do it for himself and his own future. I think TXM is the key to all that. Though XCS always gave back to his friends, he’s yet to notice that TXM has been quietly by his side helping him this entire time. So that’s something that has to change in him too; he’s got to learn to appreciate her. All part of his own growth and healing.

Vin Zhang jumped into the ocean when his drama got to 28,000 but he had promised it. Our dude here in his post that I translated, also said he kept his promise so something tells me, some of the cast did agree on something lol. If LRL does something, I’m sure it’ll be a hoot.
