You’re def going all out with the hate there 🤣. They’re both very self absorbed and have always found someone to take care of them. They need to learn real life things but they’re not altogether horrible. XCS is trying to be perfect but that’s not really working either. That Amos guy was right on all counts about him. He’s selfless and bright and outstanding but to others that’ll be problematic and he tries to fix everyone’s problems but he can’t. He’s got to be a bit more human and realize that not everyone thinks like him or acts like him. Different values, etc.

I don’t think they’re bad ppl just self-absorbed.

Yeah 19 and 20 will be hard but it’s life experience the ML needs to get over his funk.

Great two episodes and love TXM’s presence. I know ultimately she’ll be the one to pull XCS out of the black hole that’s about to start forming. But YGH and HHL really do deserve each other. I’m actually really glad YF told HHL all of that. She’s right, except for one thing; XCS came from poverty but that doesn’t mean he’ll remain that way. HHL wants shortcuts and easy money that YGH can provide but the pure love that is XCS. In the end her ambition will win. YGH will always take the rewards from someone else as his own because he’s too much of a wimp to admit it. If XCS died because of this, I doubt there would have even been that much guilt. Dude needs to grow balls and be less selfish. XZ and LRL have been doing a great job as their characters. All main and support have been convincing.

Was just thinking about it as I watched it; I finally agree with YF for a change. Girl spoke the truth. The storm is brewing. I know 18 will be EEK worthy.

We’re getting a bit serious in the upcoming episodes, though I hope the lightness btwn leads continues.

The best portions from today’s episodes are the tit for tat of Ah Ni and Xin Jie or whatever her full name is. And Ah Ni wailing on Xiao Bei. Kid needed a slap a long time ago.
