I like his persistence with caring about her. A simple rejection didn't discourage him, plus she does have feelings for him she just doesn't admit them. And he continues to work hard at the sport. Though I still don't like coach full of himself and his unorthodox training methods, it does seem to be helping SC. Everything is a work in progress.

I’m with you. I don’t understand why there can’t be just one obvious couple and the rest be about the sport and whatever else happens? Falling into You had that and it was great. Unnecessary side characters really just take away from the main plot.
