I saw those comments and they made me laugh. Since when are ppl not allowed to voice displeasure with a drama? Girl, you do you. The ones chirping are certain idol fans, pay them no mind. I voice my displeasure here or any other drama I feel isn't up to par for whatever reason. Just because someone in particular is in a drama, doesn't mean it's automatically an academy award winning drama. If ppl enjoy it, awesome! But don't try to silence those giving constructive criticism.

Like I said I knew going in after the review board basically eviscerated it, there was little greatness to be seen. But was hoping for plot cohesion at least a bit.

MRF asked for two servants to stay with the wife at the house, baldy came up with an excuse to still bring her. He's been trying to steal her from the get go. Just way too slimy.

Those 3 words are good for modern dramas or romance costume ones; not something like this nor coming from a rather complicated character like MRF. Would have been really weird.

I'm really enjoying this drama so far; I like the fact that it's not romance heavy. I hope it stays that way.

He didn't say the 3 words but told her from the get go he'd treat her like treasure if she comes with him. “I love you” is expressed differently and he certainly did so with her. I think because she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, she couldn't get accustomed to any other way, so baldy had a way in.

He really didn’t look like MRF’s friend from the get go, just seemed like a slimy dude. I mean to rename the child after your supposed best friend’s “death”? No respect. And talk about double standards; she lectures MRF about his leaving her alone in an empty house but gives her blessing to baldy while pregnant to basically do the same. I guess it’s ok when said empty house has servants and money.

Ancient times, co-parenting obviously not popular. I get what you’re saying too and do agree with it to an extent.

It's a constant "trust me/tell me everything you know" deal. I'm sure if WZF had his way CY wouldn't be involved no matter what but CY just keeps on chasing after him like he's a ghost, though still not getting that deep connection; like a just on the outskirts thing. Perhaps there was a time in childhood where WZF protected CY a lot, so now CY feels the need to return the favor. But that's a guess because we haven't been shown anything. In order to connect to a character or two of them together, we must see things, feel things. The bad guys have a way better connection then the leads; case in point the Marilyn Manson looking bro Dong and Old Man Wan with the drug addicted daughter. Them two are at each other's throats one moment and buddies apologizing the next. Even in episode 23 or 24 clips, shows them all together reunited in some Mengka location (with the dude they all are supposedly hating Mr. Militant guy) sitting having a meal chasing after each other with a phone. Unrealistic is an understatement but it just shows the disconnect that the main two characters have even already so many episodes in.

Woof that lady, I really hope baldy bails (and fails in everything he does) on her too. After everything MRF has done to give her a stable life, she cheats on him and tries taking his child away. No bueno.

To be honest, I don't see any connection past they used to be friends and now they're running circles around each other verbally. I know how it was originally written, I know many ppl see it but I don't. Maybe that'll change as I get deeper into this, but for now, it's all very lackluster and not delving deep into the plot. Or focusing on a cohesive one at that.

I expected it show the gangs but not to the point that they're taking away from any real cohesive plot. Again though, 8 reviews for this thing....no surprise.

It's a nice pace. The weirdo schedule starting next wk will be a bit of a pain but otherwise, I'm hoping for a good series. So far I like it.
