For the most part, I've started taking a rather cynical view that if a drama has a 7.8 rating and sounds very…
It's alright to have a sense of humor but don't turn it into a lunatic insane asylum with adults acting like kids, hitting each other kindergarten style and yelling during like a case. If it's a serious investigation, keep it that way. This drama was essentially a zoo. That's why I loved Checkmate, you had the banter but at the right time and place.
This is one of the rare dramas that I tried watching 2-3 times and ended up dropping. I totally agree with the…
I think it could have been actor fans loving it or ppl who like messy plots, I don't know how it has such a high rating given how much of an absolute mess it is. But, it is what it is.
Question: I’m on 25 and LY’s family is doing anything and everything to “kidnap” him away from where he’s happiest. Plz spoil for me whether at any point that’s actually successful or is this just an unnecessary plot that doesn’t go anywhere?
After watching 10 episodes, I'm still very underwhelmed as the series has 1.5 plots that are intertwined but very barely and the zillion drug dealers whom you can't keep straight get most of the screen time. After 8 reviews, I wasn't expecting miracles, but some plot cohesion and a bond forming btwn the leads (who supposedly were best friends once upon a time) outside of the constant back and forth of "trust me/tell me everything you know" would have been great. Neither has yet been fully realized. It's like the series is trying to figure out which genre it truly belongs to. I won't drop it, but I hope there's more development in the future in everything.
