Thanks for the link. I'm not Chinese but I do have Weibo. That link isn't an official announcement and in fact may be a leak; which everyone is guarding against. The information is from 10 days ago before XZ even announced he was going to be in "A Dream like a Dream." The honest truth is, no one knows where he is. And for his own safety, it's best for that to remain until his studio says otherwise.

Do you have a link to all of this information from the crew? I understand what you're saying but we've been trying to make ppl understand that to ensure privacy, everything of his has to go through proper channels is all.

A rumor is not an official announcement. Doesn't matter how reliable the account is. Unless XZ's studio or ppl's agencies, or the show has a booting ceremony that their weibo page posts, it's not official.

The rumors are a dime a dozen. The decision is Hunan's sadly but also from what I understand a lot of their entertainment politics are also involved. It will air eventually but when? Ask Hunan. Tencent sold the rights to Hunan, they can't drop until Hunan does. Would be great if Dragon tv, BTV, or any of the 17 channels of CCTV could buy it from Hunan, then there won't be a problem airing. But these folks are greedy little bastards and want more money. So we as per usual just wait. Not much else we can do.

Does anyone know who the production company actually is for this series?

Some ppl waited 3 years for The Wolf. This was filmed in 2019; let's hope it doesn't follow the same pattern.

4th episode will be today/tomorrow on BTV and CCTV. They already have the subs for episode 3 up on YouTube's BTV channel.
