I have not seen any official announcements on the official cast. Where are ppl getting this information from?

Part 2 of Yibo's section is coming or not? It's so confusing.

I think they do like two or three ambassadors a month for this show.

I really loved him in "Boss &Me" with ZLY. I want to see what this is like.

The rumors are a dime a dozen. The decision is Hunan's sadly but also from what I understand a lot of their entertainment politics are also involved. It will air eventually but when? Ask Hunan. Tencent sold the rights to Hunan, they can't drop until Hunan does. Would be great if Dragon tv, BTV, or any of the 17 channels of CCTV could buy it from Hunan, then there won't be a problem airing. But these folks are greedy little bastards and want more money. So we as per usual just wait. Not much else we can do.

Does anyone know who the production company actually is for this series?

Some ppl waited 3 years for The Wolf. This was filmed in 2019; let's hope it doesn't follow the same pattern.

4th episode will be today/tomorrow on BTV and CCTV. They already have the subs for episode 3 up on YouTube's BTV channel.

I actual preferred the story of Dong Hua and Feng Jiu and therefore loved the Pillow Book more.

The screenwriter dropped the ball. But ppl shouldn't blame the actors. They did a pretty good job considering what they were reading and not even knowing that the script was a mess.

I didn't watch JOL. But JOL and DC are different kinds of costume dramas hence when ppl compare them, it doesn't fit. I'm a professional writer/editor among other things but ive been around my share of screenplays. In general, I feel that comparing series with different premises just doesn't make sense. But again that's just me.
