Day 12 is done and tomorrow I watch episodes 26 and 27. Finally the drama is bringing cohesion and I dig most of the characters. I have watched the battle rage on in these comments for days. Folks, this is an international platform. Which means free speech is allowed. Let the anime/novel lovers vent. They have every right to. Just like those of us who like the drama can vent if something doesn't fit us. You can't muzzle what you don't like just because it doesn't fit your mold.

Remember, respect is earned when given. Don't expect to get it if you don't offer it yourself. The fact that they had to create a separate chat link just to get away from some of you is sad. I peeked in there and read what they were saying; and it shouldn't be censored. Their points were valid and it's perfectly fine if you disagree. We're all allowed to. Just don't respond and keep scrolling. If they're still watching, then they must want to see the end and maybe they'll like it and maybe they won't. But they should have their voices heard just like everyone else. Be fair.

Doubt it'll ever surpass that one. But why should it? It's its own show. Let it set its own records.

Thanks. Yes science folks do better with tests while writers or in my case business ethics folks do way better on papers. It's all about right brain/left brain stuff I don't remember lol. Honestly I've been buying my books on Amazon for school and for myself for as long as I've had the account and before, I really have no clue how B&N stays open. They're so much cheaper online. I honestly feel that everything is so online now that even kids are being raised through the internet; it's spooky. Call me old school but when I have kids, that child isn't going to have a smartphone until they're in HS like I had my flip phone. It's scary that 3 year olds know how to use smart technology better then adults. Read a book, watch cartoons but no surfing the net before you're tall enough to reach a table.

Omg those poor babies! Adoption would have been ideal; I was more concerned they'd get stuck in our foster system. How does anyone want children, come to a different country for surrogacy and then is like "nope I don't want 'em". Are there no orphanages in China because you know there are. That whole thing was such a convoluted mess; so many parentless children in the world and they had to create more? Yeah their other "scandals" are dumb as nails.

I wish their crews were treated differently too but I remember in one crew ZLY actually bought water for the entire crew. Water! Not even that is apparently provided. The conditions they work in are atrocious. The cast works super hard but the crew is required to be super human. Just a reminder of the dark side of that part of the world.

I'm hearing a lot of ppl are jumping to discovery plus and ditching cable. Any word on whether that's actually a good idea? Well I asked for the spoilers for here. I'm the strange gal that reads books from the ending first lol. So yes, looks like our Ms. Lecter will retain her name and yay for the ongoing episodes! I know the book/anime folks aren't happy but I am right now.

I concur. Even though in this case I'm a fan of the lead and never read the novel nor donghua. In the states we do rate things differently. An 8.1 is actually quite good for this drama only day 12 here. Douban is a pile of trash because the 1 ratings have nothing to do with anime/donghua fans but trolls or antis actually. But Viki is worse because something I rated as a below an 8 once and gave constructive criticism to was flagged by some members. I have not rated or reviewed this thing simply because I only do that after I finish watching regardless of whether it's theirs or ours. Personal thing. But what I don't understand is the reviews and ratings here by ppl that gave 10s at 19 episodes and then dropped the show! Like is there a parallel universe I'm not aware of?

Sorry for the delay. My brain was having a problem with cohesion. Everyone has their own thing, some watch sports and get them and others don't lol. I am ready for the pandemic to be over so I can travel. So ppl everywhere can do what they want. But all we can do is wait and pray with that one. All of my writing is for pleasure. I have one poetry book published. I want to publish the other stuff save for fan fic which you can't, but it's all copyrighted online so no one can Jack it, so that's a plus at least. I have a decent readers base for all of my stuff as the genres are different.

I don't know what happened in Love o2o, but I do recall the craziness around the chick with the surrogacy drama who got blacklisted. I felt so sorry for the children trapped in the middle. Some ppl just don't have souls. Exactly, it's not just the cast that suffers but the crew and those folks work so hard in not the best of environments.

Never had Netflix, HBO, any of that pay extra stuff. Honestly I got prime more for the Amazon shopping then the shows. That was just a nice addition. Prime makes shipping and handling free and faster shipping. Yeah, that's the thing, Netflix never had anything that interested me and if they like other places Jack up prices, what's the point? Aliens is sci fi but it's got an aspect of horror. Starship Troopers is just futuristic sci fi with a side of gore. I'm not a gore fan but I found the movie funny. It's very '90s.

Alpaca or Llama, same thing. I got Pompeii after the destruction of the city or just about. I've gotten a lot of spoilers from someone I've been hammering with questions including about mister 9 rings green smoke dude. Today, since I'm watching 24 and 25, I'm seeing the battle of devils vs fiends. The rest, we'll see. ;)

Yeah supposedly she's like absorbs souls or something. Think Glory in Buffy but without the God strength.

Can't make everyone happy. But I understand you anime/novel fans are invested. As an actor fan but also a writer/author; I can feel your pain. Let's hope it's not 2 yrs to accumulate. It does have a cheese factor yes, but I guess some of it is comical and the rest if you're not dropping it, take with a grain of salt. Best advice I can give.

Done with episodes 22 and 23; pretty decent. The Sandstorm was very Pompeii-ish. And can someone please clear it up whether the sand beast was an Alpaca or a Llama with a unicorn. Battle of Devils vs Fiends continues tomorrow. We're headed in a direction and I'm loving the teamwork! Master and grandmaster are like an old married couple, I can watch them bicker all day.

Are they supposed to be? The sand storm def shows me "The Mummy" vibe; missing the locusts though. But I'm glad that we have a cohesive plot now at least. Because I was legit lost for a while there. Zhan's acting was the saving grace along with the few other characters for a while but apparently the screenwriter has come forward to mollify the novel and anime fans who have not been happy.

Wish we could separate art from creators who are slime balls. So the actors working under them or as co-stars don't have to throw a major piece of work in their resume out the window; think Bill Cosby. I write different genres, primarily poetry actually but I did do 3 fanfics in different fandoms before I got tired of that genre.

I've met some of my closest and dearest online but it's def not for everyone. And since I do travel it helps that too. I understand not liking social media. Not a huge fan either. I've stayed off my FB though that's the only place I post anything ultra personal about myself and it's a super private account. But this rabbit hole got me both on Weibo and Twitter lol. I get to follow everyone I do and get news and have met some pretty decent folks.

Joss Whedon is a complete slimeball. I got the 411 on that last year or the year before from my oldest friend who works BTS in Hollywood. I was stunned by the stuff she said and it was sad because he created Buffy and other things that were very good. But as you know, just because the work is good doesn't mean the human being behind it is as well. And the Buffy/Spike arc doesn't work for me either. That's why I wrote him in with a character from Angel that my readers never saw coming but it fit perfectly lol.

ZLY is one of the most sought after actresses over there. She's really awesome and super down to earth. The other two are as well though I think she does command the stage. So all of their schedules are all over the place. No clue how and if they'll make it happen. Just hope they do within the next year or so.

Starship Troopers is a bit on the gory side but it's a full blown futuristic sci-fi flick from the '90s starring Casper Van Dien, Denise Richards, and Neil Patrick Harris. It's decent.

Nope, whiny princess chick has not grown on me yet and neither has motor mouth, though I think they're growing on each other lol. As for observation chick....yeah it's kind of obvious that that necklace is her power source since she obviously can't do much else. She's so creepy. And no their budget was really large from the get go, all of it has to do with the screenwriter.
