But it doesn’t make sense if some actors are older and others are younger. The flow was nice from DY but not going onto blood of youth. Some are kept the same age like a few and then everyone else is much much older.

My personal thoughts:

That’s why it’s very confusing because some people say that the first prince is the uncle of the three we met in blood of youth while other people say he’s their brother and yeah his uncle is his age. They really mix things up and confuse things. I think that this guy first Prince and everyone else because they’re so young is basically the uncle of third sixth and second I think +9th that we saw in blood of youth. Plus the entire blood River gang are much older in blood of youth than they are here so the math just isn’t mathing; because we already have an emperor and an older emperor in blood of youth plus we have an older Prince Langya; executed or not older actors for both. All the blood river members are very young when they are not in the slightest and blood of youth and the leader of Tang clan who the MYM check likes is much older in blood of youth than he is here. He’s just kid sized basically. Ironically LHY is the same age, but SKCF is still young same age as dashing youth and they use the same actor. Going to blood of youth he’s an older man with a pretty adult sized daughter and his wife is no longer alive. Little Wushang is a kid here and a teen in TBOY which means XS, asswipe prince, Wu Xin, Chong should all be in their late teens/early 20s. That would make the most sense if we’re mathing this properly.

I guess some people will think that they are brothers. Other people will think that they are nephews and uncles. I think another good example is the sword scholarly deity XX is very young here and blood of youth, he’s a much older gentleman. In any case the fact that BS who played the son of PL plays him here just like he did in dashing youth means that the timeline between DY and BR is relatively small. And there should be a longer stretch of a timeline between BR and TBOY.

Probably not because I don’t think we’re going to hit that portion. And considering they’re more focused on blood river than any of the princes swirling around it.

So we meet the puppet poison lady first with the 1st prince, then she moves to the 3rd or his nephew? Whatever it is? Same one that turned Wu Xin and a few others into puppets just alive ones?

I don’t watch or care for BL. But a male-centric show doesn’t necessarily mean BL. I’m just a viewer so commenting on what I see; I didn’t read the novel or the anime or the whatever it’s based on.
