🤣🤣🤣. You recognized him right away for me. It took a little bit of research, but yeah he does. I wonder who else from that series pops up here because that one had a pretty sizable cast too.

It’s always interesting how actors show up in other series and you know they’re familiar but it takes you a while to figure out who they are.

What absolutely gets me as more and more actors or characters are brought in is that the guy that was introduced yesterday who plays Prince something or other actually played the eunuch of Incense in TBOY; he was very feminine in that drama, obviously as most of them are, but he had an extra flare. But because of his costumes and his gloves, and all that other stuff here he’s just in a crown and a regular costume it took me a bit to realize why does his face look familiar than I looked in the cast pile and then I looked at his resume here in MDL and that’s when it hit me, so it’s always quite amusing when you recognize actors from other dramas that completely look different than they did before. He was a good guy there, I hope he remains a good guy here.

I think it’s usually the case in historical dramas where the good guys are usually the bad guys and the bad guys are not that bad. Not always, but it does happen. Or like the supposedly bad guys were driven to be bad guys by the supposedly good guys. In this case there’s apparently a third fact with that dude with the mask with the computerized raspy voice. When he first started speaking, I was thinking to myself wow you would make a great Halloween prop.

WWX also only had one brother though toward the end they made up because the one brother was just feeling jealous all the time basically. In this case you got two brothers one is quiet and you don’t know what is up with him and the other one is just a loser. There’s no jealousy. There’s nothing of that nature at least that we have seen. If you count WWXS bro and this older bro, they both said I wish you died in XYZ land. however, with WWX’s role in the last episode or two before I don’t remember, I watched the show a long time ago they made up obviously he never wanted him dead even when the ML did kind of die for 16 years and his body went. Lord knows where we’re still trying to figure out that one. but there was a lot of misunderstandings. Here this brother is just straight up not believing his bro delaying rescue then saying well it’s all your fault. I wish you were dead. I’m kicking you out of the family. Like you’re a loser. I don’t really know how he will even be redeemed if that’s the proper phrase in this case.

I love how she always comes with her own bodyguards that dude (and the extra he’s like a jack of all trades, computer guy, evidence, guy, bodyguard, etc.) is awesome like I have no idea where him and the chick came from but him especially he’s just too awesome for words! His martial arts skill set is way above any BS dudes that come from that Lu family, and their garbage though I have a feeling ML will be definitely next in line protecting her.

Finally, I’m not the only one who thinks the chemistry is out of this world. I am about to start episode 16 and I am so ready for their sexy time. That’s all I’m saying. The evil family with the really creepy mother I just try to fast forward and that’s that.

OK, that doesn’t tell me anything. I do remember the sword and some kind of emblem on it but it goes by so quickly that that’s about it. I guess I’ll just stick to turning off my brain and watching the show. Thanks anyways.

Exactly. I am not here to take an exam. Honestly I’m too old for that. I just want a show that lays out the answers and I’m enjoying it. So that’s what I’m going to do from now on. I’ve already said that yesterday I’m turning my brain off. I don’t care how ridiculous Things are especially with those brothers. I hope they never come near ML unless it’s with serious groveling and apologies, but I like my shows where you watch and you enjoy you’re not looking to be the detective sometimes. Sometimes I like shows were yes I want to figure it out, but when I don’t even have solid ground to stand on, not happening.

Honestly, my brain hurts from asking so many questions. A drama should just be about you watching it and enjoying it not having to take basically an exam to figure out things. Sure it’s great to have clues and have answers, but I like dramas that aren’t overly complicated or have so many cut scenes That two and two equal 28.

We’re actually at episode 19 and 20 so that’s the halfway point but there should be a solid at least plot going so people wouldn’t be so confused. Yes, there’s 40 episodes total but that doesn’t mean that a drama should drag. There isn’t much suspense when you don’t know What is going on or how and they don’t show you a lot of things. I’ve watched the trailer several times I still don’t understand what his beef with ML is unless he’s the system which someone broke down nicely the other day. If they’re going to keep the most evil person as the last reveal then at least they should be able to give back stories on power, gang faction or crazy and or something else. They are giving little by little, but there needs to be more. Plus the brothers that’s just a mess for me right now. ML can be weak, but it’s like every single time. He tries a little bit to get stronger someone like LSF sabotages it so we’re kind of brought back to square one. Also, the fact that we know nothing just about about the gang leader, dude who also looks like the ML other than that was written in the original book. Just little pieces that could have already added up a strong or strong Plot going forward. I watched the episodes pretty carefully, but when they’re side lined or sidetracked by people that are unnecessary flung in and then all of a sudden disappear or brothers that are just ridiculous. That’s what people focus on and they don’t focus on other things. I don’t know why mask guy has that map of the entire body of the world. He wants chaos and he’s got something to do with ML. My only guess is that he is the AI system or the editor of the book or maybe he’s another trans migrator. If you know all the answers, I’m very happy to hear them. Just stick a spoiler tag on it.

Yeah, that’s why I just wanna beat the ever loving shit out of his brothers. Because I don’t even consider them brothers. They are just related by blood, but they did absolutely nothing to save their parents if their parents are dead because we haven’t seen the actual bodies like we would everywhere else. So that’s why it’s so wishy-washy with everything. Afterwards, oldest brother was just too happy to kick ML out of the family when he didn’t do a damn thing himself no matter how many times a male told them about the sword king before. But they were the experienced ones and I’m trying to figure out experienced in what exactly? Stupidity sure. In the end, burying the other disciples and what not it was really his sister who stayed by his side, TF and that other chick that was originally engaged to the brother, I guess and one of the Soren Brothers as the other one was on a mission. There were people that were dead like that uncle guy that we didn’t even see fight. Like where was he fighting? Did he fight with the parents? Were these cut scenes because there’s a lot that doesn’t make sense. And a case I honestly don’t want to see any more of the brothers even though we do get them in a small scene or some kind of scene in the halfway point episodes but I really hope that ML just Doesn’t have anything else to do with them because he’s got to get his own shit together.

OK, so dude and mask is introduced but has that raspy computerized voice and has a bit of white hair so is that part of his disguise and he’s also short when he meets the nameless demon or whatever the hell his name is. So obviously he’s from a third faction, but what is his purpose? We don’t know what the purpose of the power gang is to begin with other than being the traitors of everyone and getting that token. That token does what for them exactly? Aren’t they already in control of everything? I swear this entire series Has gone somewhere else. There’s virtually no storyline. We don’t know if the parents are really dead or not and there’s a third-party that wants to create chaos. Lord knows why. Personally want to beat the living shit out of the two brothers of ML who didn’t really fight at all themselves, but just through guilt and blame around. And other people for not standing up for ML. at least say something for Lord sake you were just fighting for your lives and now you’re just standing there letting him take the blame when especially TF was there when the whole sword, King fiasco and frame up happened so she couldn’t open her mouth when otherwise she’s braiding and yelling at everybody? i’m just very confused. I would be less confused if we had the backstory of everybody or at least the important people because right now LSF is completely confused and we are confused with him. Obviously something in his narrative is not correct. He knows where he’s from but the rest of it not so much. I’m just wondering whether they’re going to finally start making things cohesive in the second arc or are we just going to keep trudging along with the ML finally starting to gain strength and learn martial arts and heal what was broken in his body by the sword king or something or are we just gonna keep trying to solve a puzzle without all of the puzzle pieces until the end when he transmigrates back into the modern world and everything is magically explained in five minutes.

TF did in the beginning and then was told not to get into the way of the family matters, but it irked me as well. I was just what are you just standing there like a bunch of rocks or statues or whatever get into the brother‘s face tell him what the hell were you thinking when you trusted the sword king? You literally Wasted so much time in saving the parents who I’m still not sure whether they are dead or not because we have not seen their bodies and is just bizarre. I don’t understand that type of thinking either so I’m totally with you and your rant.

It’s just very stupid. Everyone is assuming parents are dead without any bodies but yet when ML died or sort of died, his body was placed in a casket. So wouldn’t at least they would be placed under sheets like the rest? And the brother’s reactions I just want to beat the stuffing out of them. They also have not seen the bodies they have not fought anybody they just appeared yelled scream punched the living shit out of ML yelled that they wish he was dead, expelled him supposedly from the family and walked away. Like who the hell are you? What did you do you weren’t even there to fight anybody. You never listen to him to get there earlier. I don’t know. It’s just literally there was no plot, just a bunch of scenarios and scenes and things nobody knows where anything is no one knows who’s a good guy who’s the bad guy or how many factions they’re even are and tomorrow we get to the half point and they really need to start putting this together otherwise I don’t know it’s just watchable for the heck of being watchable. The storyline does not exist at this point.

The only thing the oldest brother recognizes is how to blame the ML for everything even when he does not do a damn thing to help the family or save the family or fight. He’s just useless absolutely useless.

Wait a minute so the parents are dead, but we have not seen their bodies? We’ve seen everyone else’s bodies, but not the two of them so where are they? Did the system hide them somewhere? Meanwhile, big bro didn’t even fight any battle. He just arrived on scene after the fact. This is so ridiculous to me. Whatever happened with LSF is definitely more confusing now so he’s from one clan and has preconceived notions and other things of ML‘s father because he saw himself did he see his father do the killing of innocent people? And how did he end up on the wrong side of the fence? I think there has been a lot of brainwashing and weirdness with him. Really wonder What his real backstory is not the one he has in his head. I also wonder whether ML‘s sister is crazy Yans real younger sister that would make some sort of sense I think.
