His brothers weren’t reliable a while back that was proven by the fact that he was able to get so injured because of them essentially not believing him. They wasted precious time in saving his parents so obviously they are not very good people. But at least his sister is still reliable and stands by him and he’s got his two sworn brothers and that other chick.
I think in his mind it hasn’t properly hit yet. I think he’s one of those characters that only realizes it or let himself believe it right before he dies. I mean to literally wish for his brother‘s death back in the place where his brother was trying to convince him about the sword king. The guy is just a total loser and I don’t think he’s redeemable either. Yes ML trusted the wrong person, but ultimately time was wasted because of the brothers BS so I truly hope that he is no longer the head of the family and I personally don’t want him to have that much screen time going forward as for the second brother yeah he’s just too weird for me.

I understand what you're saying, but what you have to understand is they haven't been with the parents for a long time and now brother is acting as the heir to the throne so to speak, but his decision making is remarkably foolish for someone supposedly experienced in the martial arts world. What's going to happen today wouldn't have happened if he had listened to his brother, the first time around that what's his face was the sword master of the demon clan. Firstly, I imdb is not like most platforms it very heavily screens every single review before it posts it. Of course there’s going to be trolls. Whether it’s from one fandom or two fandom‘s or three fandom is the fact as it is what it is. If he’s in the process of leaving his agency good.
