and I see lot of comments below that wants 2ML to be the ML instead because he has better chem with FL.

I need to see Liu Xie Ning as THE MAIN lead soon.
Not as the other Main lead but as THE ONLY MAIN LEAD!
Looking at her furture projects, it doesn't seem like she's getting one anytime soon.

I think she will do well in romantic slice of life series or a Wuxia.

Multiple couple is also not my thing. It was good drama nonetheless.

Ok. Completed. My thoughts:
Not a Fan multi couple drama but this one was rather good. Could have extended it upto typical 40 eps so that some couple could have gotten more screentime ( that poor 2nd daughter couple)
Final ranking of couple:

#1. First Daughter CP : By far my fave. Yes, it didn't have much romance compared to others but I liked the storyline, how it started and how it ended. Judged the husband wrong at first but he was whipped for her and never faltered for power or wealth. Shouhua was my fave out of all the daughters. I was mesmerized by her beauty and elegance not to mention she was very wise and intelligent as well. Because This was my fave pairing, I needed more screen time and romance on this.

#2. Fourth Daughter CP: Honestly didn't think I would enjoy this one but I did. The only daughter to kill a person I believe. I guess out of all the couple. This one had more romance.

#3. Third daughter CP: Typical Trope of romance I guess. Constant bickering, Misunderstanding and finally marrying. Personality wise they're both on the same level and they both think the same way.

#4. Fifth daughter CP: Out of all the pairing, This one had By far the best and entertaining start. I was Hooked But the second half of their story wasn't my flavor. The political involvement and stuffs kinda ruined it. I wish the 5th daughter hadn't been that tough and harsh on her husband and actually EXPRESSED her love rather than hiding it . The fifth son in law had the best character development in the series.

#5. Second Daughter CP: I feel so sorry that She got married before the series even began that's why they just Cut off her screen time 😢😢😢. Wish She had more screen time but compared to other husband, he was kinda useless. Buddy do something rather than hanging out with your cousin all the time. The other son in laws are doing work. You should too.

Okay onto ep28, time for 5th daughter's story I guess. I have this feeling that I am gonna enjoy this one a lot.
So far the 1st daughter CP is my fave . Yes there wasn't much romance but hey I liked it.

After the 1st five episodes, it starts to get good for me.
but this is why I have this problem with multi couples because the couple I prefer don't get enough screen time. I am clearly drawn to the 1st daughter and her spouse. Okay , not her spouse. I am just drawn to the first daughter's beauty and elegance. I am mesmerized by her.

It was honestly meh till eps 5 after that it got better
currently at eps 14, I am enjoying it now.
