Wait, I think you're overthinking it a little 😅 They didn't mention it because Yan Haoxiang himself had already told the fans during a livestream around the time the show started that he wouldn't be able to attend the recordings in the desert episodes because of his graduation. Since everyone already knew about it, they probably didn't feel the need to mention it again. But I do agree that mentioning it would have been helpful for international fans. I'm not in China either, and I'm an international fan too—especially of Ding Chengxin and Yan Haoxiang. Luckily, I have Weibo, so I'm able to find out quite a lot of information. So don't worry too much! They don't value anyone less; all of them are treated equally :)

Tan Jian Ci was much more active on Hi6 in 2022–2023. These days, he barely appears on the show. But honestly, whenever he's there, the fun literally doubles. I'm really disappointed this year. There have already been 27 episodes, but apart from the team-building special, he hasn't appeared in a single one. He didn't even come to promote his own drama, *Love Has Fireworks*. I honestly didn't expect that at all.
