Bruh, can you even read? I specifically said actors in their 30s are missing out because producers are obsessed with catering to what they think younger audiences want. That’s not ageism—it’s pointing out how the system overlooks talented people.
If your concern is younger actors not getting chances, they can prove themselves in supporting roles and transition to leads over time. No one’s saying they won’t get opportunities eventually. Stop twisting my words just to shut down someone’s valid opinion.

I said 20s and 30s, not 40-year-olds pretending to be 20. This is a fantasy/time travel drama, and you're seriously bringing up realism? It’s obvious you’re just here to shit on other people’s opinions for no reason.
Yeah, I hate that... It's not like there aren't other experienced actors who could take his place. My issue isn't…
Just to clarify, are you agreeing with my point about underappreciated actors, or did you mean something else? I didn’t mean to suggest I have an issue with younger actors—I respect all of them . My point was more about how actors in their 30s, who are also talented, sometimes don’t get the opportunities to grow and shine. Everyone has their time, but it’d be nice to see more balance in casting.
Is this Kdrama an alt-reality story where the tyrant king wasn't deposed and lived to a ripe old age? The IRL…
Most actors in their 30s can easily pass for being in their 20s, so we’re not exactly prioritizing age-related authenticity here. Plus, this is an alternate reality anyway, so realism isn't the main concern.
Honestly, it's reasons like this that middle-aged actors are losing out on leading roles. A 24-year-old getting a main role so early seems premature. He could have started with more supporting roles to gain experience and become more seasoned. But no, the producers had to cast him as the lead, which will inevitably create a power dynamic where he'll demand nothing less than lead roles in the future. As a result, actors in their 30s and 40s lose out on so many opportunities. It's frustrating.
Doesn't the character require any age limit like a 39 yo is replaced with a 24 yo?!
Yeah, I hate that... It's not like there aren't other experienced actors who could take his place. My issue isn't with the age gap; it's that some talented actors in their 30s aren't getting the opportunities they truly deserve.

English is not my first language.
I am not asking these 30s actors to act as a high school teenagers...

I guess I will wait.
