Must watch. You will not be disappointed

I hate writing reviews because I’m lazy. But I feel utterly inclined to write this review because this drama blew me away. I’m sad that I can’t find anything that makes me feel the way I did watching this.
If you love dramas like LBFAD, who rules the world, till the end of the moon, then this drama will absolutely not disappoint. I honestly cannot understand why the review rating is in the low 8s? For reference, I have watched several hundreds of Korean and Chinese romance dramas, both historical and non so have pretty high standards for dramas.
Watched this for Zhao Lusi because to me she’s the most talented Chinese actress nowadays and what can I say, she was GREAT. I watched the end scene of episode 25 so many times over and over because that scene was incredible. I get it when people say her baby voice is a bit annoying, but the whole point is to distinguish herself between ayin and fengyin, and it totally makes sense. Was my first time watching Wang Anyu and although he’s not as good at acting as Zhao, they have great chemistry together (just go and watch some clips of them in interviews etc), and I think he did enough to be ML in this drama. It didn’t detract from how much I enjoyed watching it.
Special shoutout to all of the music as well, I have downloaded all the OST songs because they’re just so good and suit the drama so well.
To note: it took me a couple episodes to really get hooked, probably because I wasn’t really sure what to expect. So some may find the first 1-3 episodes a tad slow, but once hooked, the pace of the drama through to the end is very good.
