What did you read? Or do you mean all her other works are rated in the 7s?
Haha. Well she seems to be on good terms with Sung Hoon. He made his debut in one of her dramas and now choses to work with her again. And she must be on especially good terms with Sung Hoon's female co-lead... who made her debut in one of the writers dramas and was just in 2 dramas in total. Now after 6 years she returns and gets a lead role. Well let's hope she is good lol.

I dont really care about rankings. You can look her up on wiki. Nothing against some crazy makjang but in her case it seems like everything she touches turns into a shitshow. Production included. Notorious for going on killing sprees to abruptly kill off actors she doesnt like (without informing them). Nepotism in the casting (which seems to be the case in this one as well). There is the infamous cancer line... Which she then later used for a title of her book with all kind of bullshit health and foods tips. She basically just wants to trigger people and the more you read about her the more insane it gets. MBC finally banned her from their network but i am not surprised that TV Chosun would take her with open arms.
The fact that there are people who call this drama "generic" or "predictable" is just wild to me. 7 episodes in and still have no idea what i am even watching. I think there might be some kind of highly unreliable narrator or fantasy aspect going on. They are all characters in her new novel. Something like that. How does the NIS and the secret book fit into all of that? I dont know :D
Do you know why do we have a double identity tag? Will FL tell a lie that she's not the girl ML fell in love with?
FL wanted to escape her mundane llife in the city (and i think got dumped by her boyfriend) so she takes on this new fun and spirit free perona in Jeju.
What makes you think there is no romance? The MDL tags?
I wouldn't put too much importance on MDL tags for new dramas. Everyone who just watched 20 minutes of the drama will know - Yes there is going to be romance. We'll have to see how big of a part it's going to play. After 2 episodes it seems like romance is not the main theme of the drama.
episode 2 made me cry so hard. i honestly did not expect sooyeon's story to go that way. like one of the earlier…
And she is quite a prominent actress as well. After ep1 i assumed she would be one of the leads. It completely overwhelmed me and i am still processing.
Hyun Jin and Do Yoon have one of the healthiest sweetest marriages in dramaland! honestly they are just too adorable❣
Yep i just watched episode 5. I didnt believe that he was really cheating on her. But that doesnt make her insecurities and worries any less real. The way they tied that up was just great and beautiful. What an excellent episode.
I was fine just knowing that something happened and the mom took her in as a little baby. I thought maybe some kind of fire at the orphanage or whatever. I didnt even really care.
But the more they are trying to explain how the adoption happened and trying to reason it the worse it gets.

So it's almost one week delay.
