that gun scene might end up in ep5. who knows? or later. as their conversation follows, if you kill me, you'll be free of trouble. maybe its when fei realizes he's potential enemy is hui. regarding that scene with fei ignoring hui. i am trying to find it as well. i remember seeing it but now cant find it where had i seen it

hear me out. shawn and foon are friends(as shown in the trailer). having dispute with hui because he does business the unusual way as we saw in ep 1 beginning or cutting his uncle's finger, foon might be angry at hui. also the scene we saw at he very beginning in ep 1, fei holding a gun in hui's chest, we might get to see that scene in the next episode when hui will be taken for interrogation. and i believe foon will insist on taking the interrogation, as he wants to know from hui what is going on. getting to learn how hui does business, he will keep a distance from hui and at the same time develop his friendship with shawn. but shawn might have feelings for him all along. shawn being the rival of hui in business and love, they will have serious competition. hui will try to take back foon, but foon will ignore him(i saw something like this in a trailer?). and the only resemblance from novel we will see in series is shawn being in his yatch while hui comes over to save foon. but how that scene escalates, i am not sure abt that.

i think i understand what you are on. cause Fei went there with so many cops. maybe K won't take that risk unless someone tipped him off. even with K tracking Fei, he might be cautious to not get caught.

i agree with you on this. fei loves his job, and is really happy and proud whenever he was in the office. he even asked hui before but hui denied. as a part of the investigation,fei had to handcuff him. he anger feels kinda justified too.

as much it’s all fantasy but can we please live in that dream? our ml is such a green flag, no green forest. as big as the world. he’s the ult package. good looking, educated, smart, mature, considerate, act of service, jealousy-everything you ask for. he’s my dream man tbh. additionally, his ancrestal family. a bit mix of old money and modern. living your life as the fl could be the best thing done to you. she is also a perfection in every aspect. i liked ml’s friends and cousins as well. if his brother was not evil, might have been another bonus. i can never speak enough of every thing that happened in this series.

Changed my whole profile just to write an Ep 5 review because I am definitely loving it! As a novel and manhwa reader, I know people are mad about the changes, but it honestly gives you nostalgia and fresh feelings at the same time. The way Jay keeps adding debt is such a hilarious Thai drama thing to do, and the comedy like the client spraying perfume is so funny. Idk why people think Jay is a red flag when he never did anything bad; his high IQ just gives him a unique way of handling things, and clearing the bad guys out of the industry is actually so appreciating. Sun was on the verge of crying at the lake except he is emotionally constipated, and Jay being there to comfort him, kiss him, and send him home proves he is a sweet guy. We're definitely seeing the romance way more here, and I'm so glad Sun actually googles the trivia questions now because it's the big 2026, who doesn't use the internet! Sky is such a nice kid being hyped for Sun's audition. Jay in the office was basically screaming "I am Arthur, seduce me" and literally holding back his imagination. No way Jay doesn't know Sun was Bunny, and that look he gave Sunny was pure "get the hell out of here, he's mine. you are no one to mess with him" that girl's random threesome offer totally matches that famous Thai bed-stuff vibe. love how Jay tells her to get out just so he could devour Sun and that smug manspread and smile. Goshhhh! Plus, judging by the trailer, it's safe to say Jay is removing the sponser thing to make the company better as it's his mother who started it. I think I missed this detail in the novel, and wondering why he removed the sponsers. To anyone hating on the actors, I am coming for you because their acting is top-tier! and last but not least, though the pacing is nice. how the hell it's all gonna fit in 10 ep? There might be a special ep?

I wanted to watch this drama for Chen Zhe Yuan, but I realized he only comes from ep 9. There are a lot of people who are saying ep 9 was a downfall, but to me it wasn’t. In fact, it was nice for an end note. Personally, I am a bit sensitive so watching the first episodes haunted me in real life as well. But the order was really odd, like the first case you can say as present and suddenly the next case was lin mo’s flashback.
