kinda late. as far as i understand shen mo and zhou yang were in a relationship. but zhou yang's parents didn't approve of it. not only they had to breakup, but zhou yang's father also sent someone to ki** shen mo. but ji mingzuan saved him. possibly ji mingxuan liked shen mo way before they knew each other. otherwise, how did he know where shen mo was, when he was being tortured right? though it seems like ji mingxuan is keeping him as a pet. so ji mingxuan is using her sister as an excuse to keep shen mo. correct me if i am wrong. and feel free to share more views

i get that the marriage was fake. hui didn't hide it. but he should have known that this is a serious matter. even when foon was upset, he should have been calm and comfort him. we have a saying in our country "kuttar lej kokhono soja hoy na." meaning a dog's tail can never be straight. he had the guts to even compare foon to ashtray?! y'all hold me cause idk what i am gonna do. btw, comparing foon to ashtray was one of the critical moment in novel. so i am glad they kept it. i thought we were past that. i hated that police, he helped foon getting trapped in the hand of villain. as they changed the storyline, glad to see a redemption arc. the ending got me shoketh. anyways, let me predict what might happen later. foon will be suspended. he will want to take a vacation and will remember hui's word: let's go on a vacation. maybe then he will go on a vacation with shawn? where he might or might not be tortured? as they shared a history. but things will go a bit planned like the novel. in the end, hui will come searching for him, as seen in the trailer. but he won't find foon. turns out foon doesn't want to meet him, but meets with hui's brother and secretary. i don't think they won't give us a bad ending, so maybe just maybe hui will catch them having conversation. and divorce his so-called wife and go public with foon.(please this be story) some1 hire me as a writer lmao

yeah i completely missed that. no way to defend him fs. i assume he only uses this degrading towards her, because he is unable to open up. he is an arrogant man, with no human eq or whatsoever. trying to digest his feelings, he is doing the opposite of what he should. you can excuse flora’s behaviour , but luke’s..hell no! flora leaving him should be the biggest punishment for him. it’s written in the best possible way.

one time we are bashing lian nian, the next second we are defending him. see, if i start from the start, lian nian did take a fancy in her. when she was drunk and was saying how he would have to marry her because she saved his life. it changed a course in luke's life. you see a change in his expression. also he was resisting a lot, until he took flora his home and wanted to give it a go. reason why? he felt something. to him, he was probably never in a relationship, at least a decent one to know the difference between a fwb and relationship. not to mention his upbringing and work life contributed a lot in his arrogant and rude behaviour. but he is not evil fs, unlike others. about flora, she is perfect in every way. she wants to strive in her work life. she keeps taking works that are not even meant to be hers. as a lazy person who really wants to do something and contribute, it inspires me. flora have only one flaw that is not wanting to talk about how she feels. if she were to talk, maybe luke would have put more efforts in understanding her. or share to his friend, and take some advice. cause when someone doesn't speak, there are countless thought you can come up with. you don't even know which one matches her. we have to understand luke and flora were only fwb. they weren't in a relationship, and flora was hard-working. it is understandable why she wanted to hide their relationship. the problem is luke is bad at his words, flora too. one speaks a lot, one doesn't. they both are in love, but they aren't sure how to progress further. they are minding the boundaries, but also showing love which is making their relationship more messy. it feels like i am defending luke, but trust me i don't even want to do that. now as we are seeing from a third eye perspective, we understand how they love each other. but they don't. sometimes when a relationship gets messy, a break is inevitable. i am hopeful for their breakup and growth. some ppl doesn't really understand how things doesn't stay the same, or how you need to work on yourself. this series is a great example of it. i hope all the ppl seeing it can break free from their toxic cycle as well. pardon for my nonsense
