A Waste
I am failing to understand how this movie got such high ratings, and yet I found this extremely boring and the cinematography was so dark that you could hardly see anything especially when the play was starting!!!The actors were not well matched and they just seemed so confused with each other, the lady was down right annoying, to the point I just couldn't watch this anymore and just wanted it to end.
For me personally this movie was the absolute worse that i have come across!! And will not be able to watch this again, I think the thing that let me down the most was that it was dark and you couldn't see much, maybe if this was done in a drama and there was more depth to it, it might have worked.

The Effect you feel after watching it ...
I am so disappointed with this!!!This drama started off so well and so cute and loving, and I was really hooked onto it, then all of a sudden it took a 365 to the dark side and I was shocked and left with my mouth hanging.
I just cannot belive the turnaround of this whole drama!! From the start it gave me an idea on what I should be looking for, the every possible EFFECTs of the things we say or do. As for Newton's Third Law of motion states: "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". For every EFFECT there is a CAUSE. One does not do an action without a reason behind it. The reason may be obvious, deliberate; but it could be also hidden or unaware to the person doing the action.
For me this drama touched on everything that does happen in soicety and life, in an unadulterated way features topics that seemingly people just sweep under the rug. (1) rape, (2) rumor mongering on social media, (3) suicide and (4) implied mental issue. Yes, number 1 and 3 have already mentioned in other BL series, but the way this series presented those is raw, graphic and it did not sugar-coat it. For the forth topic which is "mental health" is not that obvious, you need to analyze every detail from the start down to the very last scene. One needs to be very objective and it will be hard to do it with this very emotional show to see things through. It is presented in a way to raise awareness. The kind of EFFECTs any of the mentioned above could have is what the series wants to focus on, The power of social media. This is what consuming the society nowadays. With the information age at hand, it can bring out the bests in people as well as the worsts.
The Acting was real and raw and got to see how each character dealt with all of the above issues that took place.
The name of this drama is really fitting for this kind of drama, because it does a leave an effect on you, or a little reminder of what really goes on out there in the real world and how the above points do get dealt with. this was an emotional filled roller-coaster of a mini-drama. It was a bittersweet reality check that often doesn't get told in the BL world. Statistically, women and girls are abused and raped at an alarming rate, however, for men and boys those numbers are not a clear-cut because majority of them do not report their abuse and rape.
My Final & Overall, This is way too traumatic that even myself would not dare to watch this again. Also on a negative side of this drama was the ending for me, after 5 years they see each other across the street and they both step out into on coming traffic and the screen literally goes black? Now I am lefting wondering what happened to the two of them? Apart from that it was a well thought out and put together drama that touched alot of key and real points in life.

Coming Out ... Friendship...Love
I am not sure why this drama received low ratings, but I am glad I stuck to it. It is your normal drama whereby straight boy isn't sure of his feelings, towards boy next door, but as you carry on into the drama, it unfolds and you get to understand what happened.The ML were not so bad, you could feel the chemistry and love between them, I liked how chon love didn't waiver when things got challenging for them, and the friends helped them along the way to realize they feelings for each other. Mairiam was really sweet and loving and funny throughout this drama.
The side characters were not so bad, I definitely feel that Amp should have gotten a bit more then what she deserved, and her friend who got away with almost raping the kid in the bathroom, and beating up the kid, these two characters should have a bit more punishments then just allowing to get away with the things they did.
The story itself the annoying ex- girlfriend, the father who didn't approve and many more. But that didn't annoy me as much as the damn pacing of this series! It started off with SOOOO much potential, stalled and then just went downhill with so much of stuff being stuffed in the last three episodes that if you blink, you may miss something from the story.
The epilogue 3 years later is so strange as well, was such a jump, and the pregnancy's and then their kiss at the end,
Overall: its was bad/but watchable

This drama was enjoyable, and of course when watching the notes at the end were very uplifting.The storyline and production were good. Apo and waii were good together, although there were parts i due feel confused, like when he trying to figure his feelings, but the girlfriend used guilt to keep him. They both needed to trust each other.
Many things happen with the other characters that were on point as well and well played out.
Although i did feel that apo and waii story was sort of rushed and strange, just when they fall into on romance he goes and leaves and story fast forward to a year later.
Overall narrative could have been better

Dark yet disappointing ...
A story of two young women and one young man in the booming period of the 1990's who rise up with their dreams that fizzle into thin air yet find life in the midst of despair. I knew nothing about Wild Grass going in, except that the cinematography was not going to disappoint. And it didn't, sadly the rest of the film wasn't quite on the same level.It's a rather messy setup that sometimes works against the film, I think more tonal consistency would've been better here. The use of color and lighting is absolutely stunning though, camera work and editing aren't quite as good, the soundtrack too could've been a bit more distinctive. Wild Grass still fails to grasp the brass ring. An ambitious drama, centered on three people, about trying to realize one’s dreams.
I just found it really hard to connect with any of characters, and the story is kind of messed up, I literally watched this for Johnny Huang, but sadly was a bit disappointed, maybe if it was a series, and give each of the 3 characters there own story line then in this movie where is was all over show it might have worked better.

Not that great
This one was honestly not that great but I did enjoy the skin ship and really hot make out scenes. With me I didn't find the lead actors acting convincing enough and teacher and student story should have that taboo feeling but it wasn’t satisfying because everyone was already accepting them! Even from the beginning. I guess this is great for the ones who have a family with kid kink lol which not saying I don't like it but I don't know for some reason this one was just ok. Not terrible, just okay.You don't see a lot of children in gay love stories, but this particular child validates and solidified the relationship between two men in the movie who love each other intensely and rightly belong together. The birthday scene is so appropriately placed in the movie and bring a sense of fulfillment not only to the characters but for viewers.
This drama just sort flowed through, there was like literally no story, everyone was accepting of the relationship, the professor/father not so much of a father till later on, it was just one of easy filling drama you can watch without having to watch it actually.
Did''nt feel the chemistry between the main leads, it was just okay i guess.

Determination
Okay I did not expect anything wonderful out of this drama, however, I did find myself skipping through some episodes and often fast forwarding a few times.I love the ML which is probably the only reason I decided to watch it.
The story line was okay, in the sense that the FL was determined to prove her self in a all male working environment and to get a name for her self, the challenges she faced while trying to climbing the ladder. I did at times find that her mother was a bit to much and very pushy, having been a 33 year old and still trying to treat her as a child, and setting up dates etc. for her and just way to pushy for my liking, at the end of the day she was an adult and had the right to choose her own path. The romance was not a big factor for me, but there personal growth, on their life and work.
Dylan Wang finally got a role, where he shines! and shows brilliant acting skill. His expressions, liveliness is very natural as if it's not acting its real self.
Overall an inspirational drama.

Awesome
Wow this series was awesome.I loved the ML probably the reason i watched after seeing him in word of honour 🎖. The story was well written and played out in line with no unnecessary drama or dialogue, the Second ML was an interesting story line although it felt he didn't put in much effort to discover the truth the of his mother before assuming it was Duke Su.
The romance between the general and xuer was sweet and cute and I loved the way she always stood by him and he by her, the scene i loved the most was the mistake at the the other Fu wedding 😆.
The ending did seem a bit rush but I'm glad for the happy ending, and although there were a few misunderstanding between the duke and fu rong they always found away back to each other.
Definitely worth another watch just to see ZZH who is super 🔥 in this series.

Amazing
I loved this series, the cast and story line were brilliant and it kept you intrigued. There were some parts were i really wanted to scream, especially at the little fox for being so desperate and at times silly, but her love and determination was amazing, also her aunt at times for being so dumb and not seeing what was right in front of her. I could have done with a different ending though.For me the best scene was the kid, he was so amazing and so cute, the things he would come up with.

Utter madness....
Holy hell this bgame show was really madness!Gambling with your life, killing friends, taking lives, all just for a dollars?
The games were utterly wild and there a couple of games i remembered playing but after watching this makes me see the games we played in a whole new light.
The show it self was really good and different, was enjoyable, the players and games were well set up.
A couple of surprises towards as too who the people were behind the masks.
The ending a bit of a disappointment, in the sense he played the game came out the winner and yet he lived his life unchanged, i get going through all of that will take it toll and you would probably need counselling after it, but i do feel he could have been a better person or helped the people he knew.
Overall not something i would re watch in a hurry. But definitely a good show

Lost in translation
This drama is kind of confusing in the sense that we started off really well, i mean i was hooked on the 1st episode! Then I am not sure what happened after that.I get the synopsis of the story, the bad boy bullying the weak and cheesy high school possessiveness, but the same time it just felt like they were not communicating and just going with the flow, we then jump to what i assume is University and hira has meant someone they get caught by kiyoi and things explode up.
The characters were welln played and suited each other, the whole introvert against the popular bad boy, was a good match, if they only followed through with the story and made it a bit more easy to follow.
Overall it was definitely a good drama minus a few hick and jumping of time lines.

Unnecessary drama and disappointing.
I really wanted to watch this series as i am a big fan of the ML, but after 20 episodes, i just couldn't do it anymore.the FL really annoyed me, I get the whole need to find her master killer and all, but the fact that she was so dense to the ML feelings, was just doing her own thing and never seeing the bigger picture was what really got me, there were times when the ML also just annoyed me, why the HELL couldn't he just admit his feeling for her, clearly he had them and went over backwards for her, this whole story was a just a backwards and forwards between trying to find out the truth not them fighting or misunderstanding of a case, and when they finally admitted to each other, she still went against him and insisted that the marriage was a fake, and yet not once did you hear that from the ML, she just kept insisting and pushing the man away.
What I did like was the bound between the brothers, they stood by each other and worked together, but never interfered, just helped and guided there way through a true brother hood, the other 2 FL that fell in love with the brothers, were by far better then the main FL, especially Xio Bao mother, she seemed to have a more put together self and everything she did was well thought out, even the older brother girl who knew she didn't want to be part of the palace help the older brother, and they were there for each other, again i felt her role was better played then the main FL.
I feel like the pacing is really weird with a lot of the important events happening in the background in favor of cheap plot twists. The mystery angle of this drama lacks buildup.
This whole series really lacked creativity and way to much unnecessary drama and dialogue.

Teary ... touched on real life issues
This drama was very teary and touched on real life issues and every day struggles in both youth and adult generation.I have always loved Esther drama she brings the screen and stories to life. This was my first drama watch for the ML and he wasn't so bad, he did come across extremely reserved and left the romance side to Mis Lin, i loved how she took charge and set the pace.
The kids were absolutely fantastic and each of they struggles were real in today's society, suicide has become apparent in this generation and often support from our own society is a struggle. I loved how they stood by each of they team members and never judged or passed judgement.
The football theme was a good story and it shows teamwork and unity and that is was sports are about.

Dam good
Holy smokes this was an absolute pleasure to watch.It was interesting with a good story line and unbiased general, despite finding out the truth he stood by her and allowed her to grow to what she wanted.
A power couple that challenges and unwavering love for each other and there beliefs,
The fight scenes were absolutely amazing and so on point, The ML smoldering features were so hot, the intensity looks and often little grins were gorgeous.
OST was nice and flowing 😌

Urgh !!!!!!!!I swear if it was not for Song Weilong i really wouldn't have watched this!!!!
It was utterly terrible, I've seen better age gap drama then this, the FL WAS SO DAM ANNOYING, and so over the top she came across fake and utterly ridiculous 🙄....
The acting wasn’t all that noteworthy. They were annoying and foolhardy characters mucking through a superficial script. There are better shows out there.
