Typical misunderstandings......

I started off this series because i like the FL, but after awhile the ML kinda grew on me.

This story had so many misunderstandings and backwardness and forwards between the charterers it was like watching a tennis match, they just couldn't seem to figure each other out.

I enjoyed the second couple, and the friendship between the 3 main guys, they loyalty and misunderstandings were never taken to heart and were always there for each other,

The story line was your typical Palace story greedy empress and her subjects a blind emperor who refused to see the wrong right till the end.

The only sad and disappointing part was the end when the ML lost his true friend.

Explosive ... Hot ...

Holy Smoke this series was really awesome!!

The ML was super HOT OMG, the scenes he played gosh needed to keep the fan going (LOL)!!!! he is so damn hot and interesting - kind of a cold and arrogant one that he has possessive towards the FL, he had the whole domineering assertiveness right down to the tee. both lead characters were so smart and the FL is not the typical naïve dumb dependent The FL had there fair share of misunderstandings but it gets cleared up real fast. ML is particularly good with his jealous looks. This drama made me a fan out of Tsao Yu Ning (Where have you been all this time?).

Story line was really good, left you wanting more and a bit suspenseful trying to figure who the real boss was.

the music could have been a bit better, but its not all that bad.

and also the length of this series was perfect, it not drag on, and everything flowed through and came together really nicely!!

if anything just watching this series for the shirtless ML was definitely worth it!!

Terrible

This series was definitely not what i expected. The only decent part of this series was the ML costumes and his character.

The thing that annoyed the most of this series was the FL she was so annoying and highly irritating! I'm all for strong women and independent women, but she was a more nosy character and one that just did whatever she felt like, yes there was parts where she stood for doing the right thing, but as always she would go overboard.

The other thing that was really annoying was that she never seemed to trust her husband and yet he bent over backwards for her. Whenever he asked her to stay in a place she defined him. The scene where she tried to climb a wall during her pregnancy was also another part that was just so wrong, im sure any pregnant woman would never to try and climb a wall or tree in the first trimester of your pregnancy.

Sadly this series was disappointing for me.

Well Worth Watching !!!!

This drama is so dam good that i literally binged watched twice after the last episode aired this past weekend.

I loved everything about the cast the music the story line the plots the twists the tears and the exceptional funny moments between Gorya and Thyme.

I am not going to compare to the others, but for me personally, this adaption was the absolute best , the cast was so amazing and they all got along very well, and were well matched for there roles. They wonderfully modified the story. I really liked how they portrayed Thyme's character in terms of other versions. Gorya 's character was top notch. She nailed it. Ren 's character is also my favorite since he was the bridge between Gorya and Thyme. for me they way portrayed Thyme's mother was like on another level, wow she was extremely nasty and so cunning espically towards the last few episodes. she was right there till the end, she was like a villainess to me. I also loved how the story shows the strong friendship between Gorya and other F4 members. In 16 episodes ,they really covered the whole story. But it would be great if they had the wedding part, but it definitely ended on a nice note and did it justice.

F4 friendship- it was a good amount of screen time to show how close and strong their friendship is and they had their bromance moments. Kavin and MJ were a funny pair! You can see how close the F4 are super close to each other. these two were good and well matched and they had funny moments, I would like to see kavin end up with Kanning and MJ with his iris story at the end of every episode was also a nice touch. Ren was the best version from the others in my option He supported Gorya whenever he could., and was always there for her and encouraged her to never give up, the chemistry between the leads - I loved it! the casting choice was well done. Bright's acting; he was able to portray his character pretty well by pulling of a variety of wild emotions from acting angry, sad, confused dork, and love he gives Gorya takes a lot of energy to pull of this character.

The Music OMG was the best in this drama, I loved every single song that was done, and each song was well matched to what was going on, this is absolutely on playlist!!

Overall: THIS DRAMA IS WELL WORTH THE WATCH and the Leads and the Music!! Urgh Just go watch this!!!

Food Porn ......

Wow this drama had me hungry the whole time I watched this, the cooking/presentation/and I swear I could literally smell the aroma of the different dishes that was cooked.

So apart from the amazing dishes this drama went from having a trailer that is captivating, the shots were fantastic, the food is mouthwatering, and that OST is just lovely, the story was so bland it failed to come all together.

A few things that just didn't grab me with this drama was. Firstly, I couldn't understand why Aek's mother would be against him becoming a chef - after all that was clearly his passion and talent, when she herself even owned a restaurant? Secondly, It was obvious from the start that Aue liked Aek, so why did act all surprised and become so rude, and cry the whole time, and made himself look like a victim? Thirdly, Aek showed up in Aue's restaurant, after having a heart to heart with mama who turned out was not even mad with her son being gay or wanting to be a chef, opening his arms like nothing happened and he just opened his arms and they embraced, and everythings is rainbow and unicorns again. Apart from the fact that the dama had amazing food/deserts I did find that the drama was a bit slow, it like they ran out of ingredients and just had work with what was on hand, in a very slow heated up kind of kitchen.

The desert chef and his character was so undeveloped as well, I mean in reall life who on earth can it eat so much desert and literally everything was good, I jus found his character extremely annoying as all he ever did was eat and talk which most of the time his words were extremely pointless, and the desert chef just didnt seem to say anythin of matter, he just stared at him like he neve saw the guy before!!

For me the drama name was "Bite Me" so I really was expecting some bite scenes, we got a half forced kiss from the ML and that a wasted peck at the end, what on earth was with the hand kiss as well at Episode 11.

Overall This drama had so much going for it just by the name and the trailer, but in the end it was a let down in the sense that the I feel it was more a bromance then a BL.

Disappointing ....

Okay this drama started off okay, but some where along the line the plot got lost.

The whole switch of brides and the fighting of good and evil was so predictable, the annoying FL who never listens and does her own stupid things only to be saved by the ML.

I love the ML and thought he played his role really well, he always looked good in his outfits and it did kind of reminded me when he did Dr Cutie. The FL however was really dumb and stupid and for just spoilt the whole drama, the second couple had no chemistry whatsoever, despite the second FL been smart and witty. The second ML came across as someone who just couldn't think for himself and was doing things for the wrong reason.

Definitely didn't like this series and found myself having to skip and fast forward certain scenes.

This is just my opinion.

Short and Sweet

This drama was really sweet and short but got the point across, there was nothing of back biting / misunderstandings / breakups or nasty cat fighting.

The story revolved around mafia son, needing a bodyguard, due to a rival gang wanting to sell drugs on his turf, basically that is how the whole unravels. Sky & Sun had a bad meeting in the beginning but slowly they grew to like each other, each character was very strong and they both stood they ground, I loved how Sun was always there for Sky, either cooking / cleaning / or just protecting him, although I must he needed a bit more of a bad ass mafia look, and his fighting skills at times really needed some work.

The second ML couples were just outright funny and to the point of what they wanted from each other.

All the dramatic action scenes are so well done and the actors do it so well!!! Everything about their acting is amazing!! Back to the cast, I remember sky/ gun from love by chance.

Although this was only 8 episodes, which can literally be watched in a day if you nothing else to do and just feel like watching something without the whole thought process,

This drama is it.

Touch & Go .... Heartwarming

I literally have no words to describe this series, it was very different to most other romcom or love series, it was heartbreaking, and teary, but also kept you wanting to now more.

From the beginning it started off really strong, what got intrigued was the Mechanical Heart, with technology advancing at a high rate, I don't think we will far off from seeing something like this in the future. The ML lead did an outstanding job in playing this role and his emotions were so real that you could actually feel it, the FL although I did feel she was a bit childish, but I did like her positive attitude to life, (wish there more people like that in real life), her outlook on life and situations were amazing, and often you would find yourself laughing along with her.

The story was really excellent, especially the last few episodes, I really thought that it was going to be a very sad ending, but I am glad there was a turnaround in the end.

The second ML and FL story was just so hilarious and funny, they really kept us entertained while dealing with the serious stuff of the first ML & FL .

For sure is THE BEST MODERN DRAMA OF 2021, until now.

Comedy

Wow this drama had a comedy side to it more than actual drama.

The only reason I watched this is because of 2 things:
1 - Luke aka Itchaya, after coming off watching Dear Donovan . So his story was really full of misunderstanding and such a roll coaster between and literally the whole cast, a crazy controlling mother, a playboy father, a mistress who assumes has everything, and the girl who lies her way to protect a sister who is cheating with a married man!!!
2 - Tay aka thevis, another reason to watch him since his last drama the player. I did expect a lot more from him but his story was a little comedian,, but had the same concept, he sort of falls for his brother girlfriend who he cant seem to talk straight with.
3 - Gun aka Ashira, again last saw him in Not Me and for me this was really strange to see him touch lips with a girl (giggle) got so use to see him with Off etc. ... again his story was full of misunderstanding, after seeing Book aka Sun kissing his girl cruch.

For me this whole drama was just one big misunderstanding and confusion and well just acceptance, for the most silly things and a play boy father who wife just accepts it what ever he does and literally does nothing kind of leaves a question in my mind as to how just could accept what her husband doing and thinking that it was okay.

I watched this on going and evetime an episode came out i found my hesitating to carry on watching.

Overall: Just watch this for the 3 HOT men and nothing else.

Totally watch for EarthMix

This drama was literally watched because the ML are just so good together.

Earth , Mix, & Jan did a great job in my opinion. So glad that I took a leap over many negative opinions to see the series for myself. Body swapping is not my thing but it is so nicely done and certainly addressed in the series that I ended up enjoying the story line. Then we very obviously have to talk about the swap that happens and the apparent misrepresentation in the show. To me at least, it didn't exist. Korn recognizes Win from the moment he wakes up and he keeps addressing him as such and though we see Mix as Win on screen, Korn is actually looking at Lin as Win. The Win he loves may have. ACTING : is on point from all three main leads, i felt bad for Mix in the beginning having to shout and being angry all the time and i agree that its the directors job to see if how he portrays the character is right. Mix wasn’t cringey or bad acting like a loud asshole, that was what they and his character asked of him and he was just doing his job. You can see he can act angry/sad without shouting in episode 9, something i was glad they changed from the trailer because he was shouting at that scene too originally. The switching between Mix and Jan was another highlight, both were good, acting as themselves or the other. Earth was good as well, balancing the sweet, patient but sometimes already at his limits Korn. White had so little screen time but still very likeable, he looks so cute with his hair btw.

Is this the season for experimental BLs? Given the releases we've had in 2021 and 22 (until now), the answer is a yes. Whether it was the groundbreaking portrayal of frenemies to lovers in Bad Buddy or exploring vampirism in Kissable Lips or the soft anti-heroes of Not Me, it's delightful to see BLs leave the greener pastures of college romance to venture into the wonderland lurking just beyond. Cupid's Last Wish is another such attempt in how it's a road-trip BL and for the most part, it delivers without being too didactic.


Overall: This was really enjoyable and absolutely worth the watch.

A lovely touching story ...

Wow what can i even say about this show, it was truly an amazing and touching story, with really exceptions actors who matched well, and portrayed they role really well.

Tale of a thousand 1000 stars is one of the best shows that I have watched so far, the cinematography, acting, music literally everything was perfection.

The storyline is so unique in the BL world. It's a game changer from the usual university-themed Y series we used to see in this genre. The ending was good. My eyes are sheading tears while smiling, What I love the most in this series is how they showed the contrast among social classes, and making the viewers learn how to value their lives. Showing the difference between people in the higher and lower class of the society results to realizations and understanding among its members. A rich boy realizing how happy living in a simple life in the village; however, if villagers have their choice will they choose to stay where they are? -- it's reality vs. practicality question.

Their acting is so natural and effective, the emotions was delivered properly, Meanwhile, I don't think anyone is more fit for the character of Phupha rather than Earth. Earth's expressive eyes and effective line delivery is what he made me impressed. Tian and phupha had so much chemistry and tension you couldn't even deal if you tried. The side characters were also well played and worked well together, and came across with there own emotions and showed there feelings. I can not in all honesty say that there was any bad acting, I mean even the kids played there role really well.

Overall: This is a really good dam drama, and is well worth watching again, if not just too see Earth shirtless, but everything about this drama was well thought through and well excuted!!!

enjoyable

This was really a good series, at first i was extremely skeptical in continuing to watch it, but i am glad I did.

The story was good and as usual the ML with his ceo domineering persona, the FL lead was well played and the two of them together played very well, they had go chemistry and interactions. I was especially glad that we didnt have a whole nasty mother in law situation, the father in law was very funny and so down earth, the second Ml was also interesting and the FL lead tried but at least we didnt have any daggers coming out either. All in all this series was well played and nice welcoming back of the ML.

The only part that sort of bothered me was the French dubbing but you kinda used to it after a couple of episodes.

Light & Cute

Wow this drama was really sweet and cute and light.

I really enjoyed this drama and there were all cute moments and the acting was amazing and akoi was so entertaining and funny that made yhe drama even more enjoyable.

I loved everything about this japanese drama it was one of first japanese drama that really interested me and was fun to watch.

Totally worth a rewatch, akoi facial expressions were cute and funny, and hashimoto was not so bad either. I loved the characters in this drama they were well suited and sweet together.

Overall a 100% worth watching, gonna do a rewatch.
