Expected More from this

This movie was not what I had expected.

I enjoyed the movie. It felt dark, and gritty. I loved the characters, even with all their flaws and insecurities.

The movie is about flawed characters and their tangled life. Which I do not mind, its just that I do not have to like them and/or sympathize with them. The character Imagase is obsessed, a stalker and cajoled his "Love" into having sex. He pushed him to a point where the other guy "Falls" in love with him and longs for him. Otomo repeatedly and continually cheats. He has no respect for anyone else's feelings. I think he is a sociopath. Extremely self-obsessed and emotionally immature. Yes people like these are all around us and in a movie we would like to see the redemption part of such characters. Here I felt that was missing. There was no redemption for Imagase. He is still as obsessed with Otomo as he was before to a point tha he cannot even enjoy sex with someone else, even though he chose to leave Otomo. Otomo appears to have redemption by falling in love with Imagase, which is really unrealistic, cause this is a realistic movie and sociopaths need serious rehabilitation. By loving someone you cannot redeem yourself. There was no serious consequences for the two lead characters, they have treated other people with such disrespect that the movie should have shown some consequences for them. Yes, one can argue that they did not end up together and there was no happy ending. To be honest these two characters cannot be happy together unless they work on their issues. May be at the end the makers wanted to show some glimpse of road to redemption by Otomo, but Imagase was left hanging. All in all it was not a satisfying experience for me to watch this. I am all for movies portraying complex characters who are ruthless and self absorbed. But I am against glorifying them and I think in this movie both these characters were glorified and the director wanted us to sympathize with them. Sorry I could not.

Overall: Its not a movie I would recommend, guess its basically up to you to give it a try.

Cute & Sweet

This is a a really sweet & cute short drama, that basically gets to the point with a little a bit of dragging out. Now despite the fact that there were only 4 episodes, quite a bit of story was able to be told and I can appreciate that, but something was just off about this series, from the very first episode. This series is not problematic, but seems to be riddled with problems, if you know what I mean.

What can I say. This series is like Goldilocks. Not very good, not very bad, just existing in the middle. There are no problematic aspects, but that’s just about it. The story itself is very short so it comes across as something ordinary that could have been better. Now that’s not bad at all, just not noticeable enough. I did find a bit creepy when Nuea was approaching an underage boy, but I guess love as no age to fall in love, as long as its both sides.

The acting was decent. It did feel cringey and somewhat lacking in feelings at some points, but it was more natural in terms of acting. Even for the TOSSARA couple! I know, right? This was a slight improvement from that.

To be honest, I would not rewatch this. It is not bad, but I prefer series that captivate me, out of all the En of Love's, I would only recommend Mechanic. It was light, it was fluffy, it was consensual, and it was cute.

Too Babyish and cliché

The plot was basic and nothing new or unique. Gun was a stalker. Umm. Not cool dude. Creepy actually. When he finally gets Bar he acts like he owns him. Gun doesn't want him to go anywhere without him. Possessive much? Bar wants to go to the bar with his friends. Nope, Gun says no. Very annoying. Also I didn't like Gun Babyish ways, I did prefer Bar with his tough attitude and all, but he always gave in the end, which was really annoying.

They didn't seem to be any chemistry at all between them, and the fact the friends literally forced them together was a big NO for me. Thank goodness this drama was only 4 episodes long with less 20 minutes each. There was no story development. Nothing happened. Gun liked Bar. Gun stalked Bar. Bar liked Gun back. They are together. The end. Nothing happened to show us why Bar began to like him back.

OVERALL:
Some really enjoyed this. I clearly did not. I can handle worn tropes, low budgets, less than stellar acting, and subpar writing--to an extent. But I need something special to make up for those shortcomings, a spark that just wasn't present in this story. I can't say I'd recommend the series, mainly because I got more disgusted by Gun the more I watched, but it's only four episodes and a rather quick binge.

Mainly watched for the cast

I watched because of the cast in it. I enjoy watching them. I watched this whole series just hoping that it would get better as it went. I was wrong. It never did. The female characters were completely toxic. The plot rewards bad behavior. The writing is sloppy and dull. The direction is worse. A total train wreck from start to finish, no fault of the actors. There is only so much you can do with bad writing.

The entire series is extremely boring and I’ve been skipping parts to find the bl scenes. The actors are doing their best they can with such a badly written story. There has been a lot of missed opportunities to start bl couples which is annoying because there have been a few characters I want to see get together.

OVERALL: Don't watch it. Total disappointment. A click bait so people watch the series and wait for BL but guess what? THERE'S NO BL!!

Dam .... I Cant believe I watched this

Okay to say the show was extremely different is saying the least, after squid game I really didn't think I could do a another freaky show, but I was proven wrong.

So this drama I am at a lost for words, because even though It was good in the sense the acting and cinematography was really excellent, and the visual effects were out of this world, I did find that by the time I reached ep 7 I started to get a little bored, mainly because it just felt that the drama was going nowhere, we got to see how the zombies were created and the reason behind them being created, but the whole running away and hiding the fighting between the remaining survivors started to over lap each other. he first episode was compelling and was such a gorefest, I thought it is exactly how I want my horror show. The very first attack by the school nurse was heart stopping and showed a lot of promise.

The story is simple enough but could have been a goldmine of ideas and exciting scenarios. Instead, they dropped stupid and repetitive scenarios one after another. Some of the plots and characters were what seemed to be wasted time space, like the assembly woman what was her reason for being there and the people around her, the vlog guy, he didn't seem to vlog much and was caught on the roof, the police guy that rescued the baby and the child but only to see them get caught and separated. Then out of no where you got a mutation of the some of the characters that just seemed to endless.

This felt like the drama could have been in done 6 episodes instead of the full 12, cuz in the end the military bombed the town up, for me also, I could not get my head around why the commander shot himself after dropping the bomb, there was literally no other way to stop the zombies from entering the main towns, and causing a major chaos, there was no cure or vaccine so why did he feel like he need to end his life?

Overall: The ending has left us all questioning is there a season 2 coming? If zombies and gruesome is your thing then yes watch it, for me this is not something I will watch again, but i did find enjoyable on a 50/50 scale.

Down Hill

Okay so just minutes after I finished watching the first season, I jumped into this one, hoping there would a story behind it, but sadly not, I am not sure how this even started and if did start with a mess, dude riding in on a horse, and then a jealousy scene then back to the riding scene, and then a whole lot of mixtures after that.

The main characters were the only thing that kept watching this mess. This ENTIRE season was five episodes of montages with the SAME song over and over and over and over! Why did they waste film and time and money making this 5 episodes? I am not why this 2nd season, they literally should have just left it with a cliff hanger, cuz this was just not worth it. there were some really cute moments, but again it was not explored in detail and could feel the tension and kept hoping that something would happen but sadly nothing.

There was no story. Nothing to latch on to. There were two kisses but I could have done without them. And there are those who said this happened because the episodes are short and I call BS on that.

Overall
Though I am not going to re watch it often cause I don't want it to lose it's special touch. It is amazing!!! Like 10/10 go watch.

Short

Wow I love Mok in this. Okay so this came to me a recommendation, and although i did enjoy it and the story seems to be unfolding, I did find it really short. 4 episodes with less the 15 minute run times.

The characters are well matched and bay/mok seem to have a really good chemistry. the story line I am not even sure what was going on, accept that mok seemed to getting over a heartbreak and by was there to help through it, they connected and mok went back, in other words the first 4 episodes all take place in a hotel, when the time is up and he gets a call to return, it ends, so we are starting the second season, which i am hoping will give us more in depth as too what transpired.

THE MOMENT I NEED YOU... When you analyze it, it is hanging. It doesn't have a complete thought... Yes, the creator behind this mini-series can make the phrase into a sensible sentence. HOWEVER, they decided for you to continue the phrase. And when you watch the 4 episodes, you will realize that what they want to say and it can not be put into words because it is a combination of small gestures and events that lead to the ultimate ending. The very first striking difference in other Thai BL is the setting. It is not the typical school/university. However, those that enjoy the typical setting can enjoy this one too... The looks of the characters are not that old, as if they are newly graduate.

I like how they showed what really happened (flashbacks), one can easily think that they deserve each other. Viciously cunning to achieve what they want. You won't get lost because the flashbacks happened almost immediately after. I could also say that the creator behind this is an evil genius in doing that.
Music: The tempo is just right for the kind of relationship that the two is building. Not too slow and not too fast.
The beat is on point as well. Not too dramatic and not too heavy on the percussion. The song is like pepper and salt to your dish, it heightens the flavor. But for this, it enhances the emotion that you are feeling.

Overall: A lovely sweet drama and short to the point you could watch it over again, right on to the next season The Moment Since!!

Cute with a touch funny

This was a really nice short drama, and it did have it moments.

I Loved everything about it, the brothers the fights and make up, how each of them grew into there character the discovering of right and wrong, the easy flow of this drama, no plot, no backstabbing, no extra third wheel getting the way etc ...

I thought the overall storyline was quite interesting and unique. I’ve never watched a drama with a plot like this, though it definitely gave me HIStory vibes. When I first read the description I worried it was going to be the half-brothers in love, so I was relieved when I realized the series was about them and their separate partners. I do admit i favored one of the couples over the other two (although, i think we all do haha). Jun Cheng and Lin Xun's chemistry is just out of this world, and i hope they're able to do a full-length series together in the future.

Overall: This drama, and it won’t be winning any awards for best BL series, but I think if you give it a go and watch it with a clear mind, you may find yourself enjoying it just as much as I did.

It was a 50/50

The only reason I came to watch the special was for off&Gun.

why do special episodes seem to come with a difference to what we expected or lack of. This special did kind of tie them up nicely accept that I am sure I like how Gun become a little baby for me, I realize that he needed to change but to much baby side. Story-wise this episode doesn't have a lot to offer, which is not surprising, but I feel like they could at least have tried to keep the tone a little more serious. The series had a lot of really emotional and dramatic moments, those were mostly absent in this episode. Also, there was too much voice-over in my opinion; that was a nice addition to the series, but here it became over dominant. And although I agree with comments saying that Gun and Off don't "need" kisses: I believe it is a bad trend in the latest Thai shows not to show intimacies, especially after many series in previous years have dared to show much more than just simple kisses. Theory of Love has some beautiful kiss scenes, which makes the lack thereof in this episode not very believable.

Overall : Just stick to the series as it tied everything very nicely.

Kind of a Repeat

I was so looking forward for this to come out, and I was a little disappointed, in the sense that they basically recapped the to series and narrated the movie, I had expected a much more understanding of the things between them, and see how they grew from where there were to was happened.

Nevertheless Bright and Win still extremely hot and considering I am watching them in the ongoing F4 you can see such a difference in there characters etc ...

So there is not much to say for this review, I do suggest watching the series instead though. The ending for me was awesome, still trying to figure out if that was a marriage proposal or a life long commitment (thinking)

The movie obviously is focused on telling the story of Tine and Sarawat, and how they ended up a couple, with all the highs and lows. For that reason, the side couples just… get together without much explanation in the movie. Since, as I mentioned before, the target audience knows everything about how Man/Type and Mil/Phukong ended up together, that’s not a problem. I really liked the final song.

The movie receives extra points for the cute baby and puppy at the end.

Situations overcomed ...

This drama was good in the sense that we get to 6 different individuals tackle their own fear and overcome their own inner demons.

The plot was kind of simple - six guys with the same name living in one house, all with their own phobia, and overcoming it with the help of each other. This is a family drama with each one having their own backstory and a time to shine (although i feel like Singto's screen time was less than the others).

The acting was 50/50 and the I loved that we have probably seen these guys in other dramas as well, which what attracted me to watch this.

This really not a BL but more a bromance and friendship of 6 guys coming to know each other with strangely enough the same name, each of them have their own phobia, and it shows on each of them overcome them and be there for each other, and accept each other flaws, and strengths.

Overall: its an okay drama, with a very good bond of friendship

Awesome ... Can't Wait for Season 2

Wow this drama was really good, I so enjoyed that I rewatched again in one sitting.

There are four main couples and the series gave justice to each by giving them ample screen time. The pacing was good, and although there might be some awkwardness in the acting sometimes it wasn't to the point it'd put you off. The series also had moments where is has brought up common and worn out cliched plots in the bl genre and dissolved the misconception.

BOHN-DUEN : okay, this relationship is on the immature/inncocent side. I feel this couple get a lot of flak because their personality combo is one that frustrates people the most. I too am among those that have felt like smacking sense into either one of them in a scene or two but at the same time I understand there dynamic as well. Bohn is the popular boy who is used to having everything his way who fell in love for real, for the first time, with the innocent boy. Duen is innocent, with zero experience on how to be in a relationship. Bohn comes off as an arrogant bully but he always gives in to Duen at the end. And Duen is not your typical cowering submissive boyfriend either. This pairing is one that asks for a LOT of understanding and patience on the viewers part or else they'll just be misunderstood. But I really believe that if the done well, this pair has room and will allow the production a good opportunity for real character growth and development.

MEK-BOSS : This couple's relationship is one for the angst. It's a story of Mek who's in love with his oblivious best friend Boss. The heartache for the viewers gets worse as Boss is always chasing after girls and dragging Mek with him. I have to be honest, with the whole drama with Rayan (Mek), I tried very hard not to get invested in this couple so I don't get disappointed, but it couldn't be helped. They are so cute together I ended up invested.

RAM-KING : The VERY BEST pairing of the drama; hence why I have dubbed them "The Royals". Right of the bat, this pairing was a favorite. I couldn't get enough of their scenes, not a single one can be called just a filler. This pairing tells the love story between a plant and dog. King understands Ram like he understands his plants without Ram having to utter a single word, while Ram, the dog-lover, likes to care, feed and pull King around . I love how intuited they are with each other and to be honest this pairings visual is no joke either. Their character and relationship development was done really well. Really I can go on and on about these two but I'm worried I'd veer off of even the bounds of spoilers lol I'm all in for Monarchy all the common people be damned!

THARA-FRONG: The slooooow burn couple. Theirs is the least developed relationship in the series but I believe we will have more story for them in season two.

The only downside for me on this were the girls, running around like they had nothing better to do, and then the sister who clearly is siding with her brother, but oh boy does over exaggerate.

Overall this was really good and like i said I did watch this twice

What an Ending ....

Grey Rainbow was a breathtaking beautiful series i never expected. Although it was a short drama, but it literally had everything in there.

Actors were very well developed . Storyline was real , intense and dealt with struggling issues. i loved that they were very manly . thai series/movies tend to have a girly male role Not All just some. I dont dislike this but like to see the other side. where man can act like a man and just love like a man and be with a man . simple and real.

The acting, storyline and cinematography in this series are solid. However, the ending was a bit of a let-down. it just felt that after all the hardships that they went through and having come so far to be with each other, why could they not have had a happy ending they deserved, instead of him being left alone to bring a kid that was not even his to begin with.

If you put aside the ending I think this drama is really good and I definitely want you to give it a shot and watch it. To not make this even longer I didn't talk about every single thing I liked about this drama but there is a lot to love. I do recommend you to keep in mind that the ending will punch you in the face. If you really don't like pointless, sad and confusing endings then I recommend you either stop watching at 1.02 (this would have been a nice ending) or don't watch the drama at all.

This is probably why I gave it a lower score, the whole build up to have such an ending. The actors also did a good job. It's just that endings are very important to me so I'm not able to go higher. It would have been a 9 for the story and overall rating from me if it hadn't ended like it did.

This is literally too short ....

This is a really short drama of only 3 episodes from start to finish and only 18 minutes long for each episode.

Did I enjoy it?
- NO
Is it worth it?
- If you stuck for nothing to watch and just need to pass the time, then Yes
Is the music good?
- 50/50

Story line was okay the normal and typical storyline of a high school, basically the story is overused, it is very simply, with not much thought in it, you can basically just watch it with your eyes closed and you will get the feeling of whatever is going on, that's how simple it is, especially if you have watched enough BL with the same plot.

Characters- Well they did play from what I saw in between Dew/Best were well matched and the friends were cool enough to encourage him to take the leap.

What was the point of this series exactly? there were so many missed opportunities. It lacked, for me, reason, and depth.

What is it that the writers are trying to tell with these three episodes exactly? I felt there was no true direction.

Sad part it could have had potential but it didn't

SO FOR THIS IS A BIG HELL NO!!
