Run On and Doom at Your Service kind of ruined him for me but I'm loving him in EAW so far so I'm hopeful
So interesting I kind of felt the same - first watched EAW and really liked him - I think he was perfect for that role. Now watching Doom at your service and a bit underwhelmed. Also hopeful and glad there is another season of EAW scheduled and he is in it š

I was as perplexed initially watching all the absurd scenes in this drama, until finally realized joke is on meā¦ Exaggeration here is intentional and meant to be absurd and cliche to the point of parody. When you look at this drama through such lens it makes sense and you actually realize how brilliantly it laughs at all those tropes.
This is ridiculously funny - all the tropes and cliches of a drama made fun of!! I didnāt even realize itās parody for 5 episodes - now it all makes sense: parachuting to work, English castle, helicopter rescueā¦ Brilliant! š¤£š
He is so noticeable in all of the dramas - really enjoyed his roles in Touch your heart, Familiar wife and Crush course in Romance! So talented! š¹š
This drama is sooo good! Just finished episode 4. Besides great acting/production, the storyline is absolutely captivating. Amazing how well they portrayed main leadsā trauma here. Kudos to the entire production team! šš„

Ep 25 This drama keeps surprising me. Gyu Jinās explanation for divorce was eye opening and made total sense - connection to his mom was a keyā¦ Initially was a bit skeptical at 100-episode dramaās ability to sustain my attentionā¦ well, it definitely does so far!! Writer doesnāt disappoint. Meaningful plot and witty dialogs. She is a true genius in a drama world!
Maybe I wasn't focusing on writing as much, but are you sure? I thought the secrartery character was halirous.…
I like secretary character too and girlfriendsā¦ Didnāt like the lines of ML - truly donāt think he even enjoys or believes in that character himself and I like his acting in general. The scene where he walked out of the shoot was a bit too much too. Plus instead of the witty dialogs there are these stares at each other. Second episode i liked but this one just BLAH š¤Ŗ
No amount of great acting and stellar production can elevate bad screenwriting. Dialogs are meaningless and boring. As much as Iām enjoying watching the scenery and actors - their conversations and situations characters are being placed at make me cringe badly. Cliches donāt have to be so boring and wince inducing. Business Proposal comes to mind - it was funny and sweetā¦ I feel bad criticizing someone elseās work especially when Iām not in the position to judge (not a writer in any sense) but this one feels lazy. š
