Regarding TtEotM, yes, the drama does have a sad ending, but what comforted us was the ending of the novel. I personally prefer to think of that as the 'real' ending. and It can be described as full of angst; it’s more like it's going to crush your heart. But despite that, because of the story and the cast, it remains one of my favorite dramas.
I really liked KttFH too, but from a certain point (ep21), my interest faded because of the plot. And honestly, I couldn't get the thought out of my head that the FL was only 16-17 years old. However, the MLs of these two dramas are quite similar.
As for KMLM, I watched it mainly because of the FL actress, and I really loved the chemistry between the leads. I think you should give it a few episodes to decide for yourself.
Yeah, I saw your next comment and wanted to make some recommendations. But then I noticed you’ve watched 1,118 shows while I’ve only seen 213, so I thought anything I suggested would probably be something you’ve already watched 😆 Still, if you’re looking for dramas where one of the leads falls in love earlier, these are the ones I can remember for now: Hidden Love — FL Love Like the Galaxy — ML Till the End of the Moon — ML The Key to the Phoenix Heart — ML Love of the Divine Tree — ML Kill Me, Love Me — ML That’s all I can think of at the moment. They’re all good dramas, but in this particular category, I personally like BoP more.
What a terrible drama with even more terrible plot twists.
I haven’t finished it yet, but this drama is honestly one of the best I’ve ever seen. Maybe you should’ve washed your eyes before watching it, so you’d know what really deserves to be called “terrible.”
Ending sounds so rushed! I needed to see more of the ML being a hero to the people not to give me something about…
yes, exactly I was stunned for a moment when I realized everyone was praising the Emperor! The ML had sacrificed everything, yet the Emperor spent most of his time throwing obstacles in his way! If that humanitarian gene of his hadn’t been triggered by the ML, and if he had killed the ML in prison, those very people would have been crushed under the enemy’s boots by now! On the other hand, it feels like the writer just wanted to give the Emperor some consolation - to at least have the people’s support so he could handle the pain of losing the FL and blah blah blah
Maybe better learn that MDL ranking never reflects the actual quality of anything, but instead the craziness of…
I know, I’m just kidding! I wanted to say that it’s wild to see such a low rating. We were all looking forward to this drama so much, and it seems like a lot of people were disappointed
