I watched it because I wanted to see an action movie full of blood and excitement. But, as it turns out, the storyline really sucked and irritated me. More specifically, I didn't see any character development at all. The MC was interesting, cool, strong, and didn't seem afraid of anything. Unfortunately, the story turned him into a bland and empty character. Despite his seemingly work-focused personality, he suddenly falls for a cheating sugar baby. Her unique qualities weren't even shown to the audience, so I couldn't understand why the MC liked her in the first place. It just didn't make sense for an MC with such a strong personality to fall for someone like her so easily. Badly written.
I don't have a problem with the premise itself. I actually think it's good, but the plot was extremely straightforward and boring. There was no clear sense of determination or purpose behind the characters, which made everything feel even more empty. Disappointed..
