I don't like LuXin at all, but everything she said during the fight in ep. 7 is true. She was pregnant, but the Beis sold their son. And she also stayed married after she lost the baby, when she could have gotten a divorce.
Plot so good that I forgot I started watching it because it was a BL series. And don't even get me started on the actors' chemistry and the NC scenes! <3
Honestly I'm here for Bas. The other guy can't act I'm sorry.. I hope he improves in his next projects though..…
To be fair: this is that guy's first role ever. I've seen actors who were in the industry for years and have big fandoms, but act worse than him. I agree with you that Bas needs a good partner. But I think he himself does a great job in this series and I'm sure he will get noticed by producers, directors etc. It will certainly help him get better roles and partner(s) in the future.
I see some kisses, I see a lot of scenes of people rehearsing choreos, and that's about it. I don't quite understand the story, since either the writing or the editing (or both) is quite chaotic: jumping from one scene to another without coherence. I also don't understand why it's called "Love Class", it has almost nothing to do with the previous seasons, apart from Jaemin and Khun who met during classes. I guess they just wanted to use a title that was already well-known.
I agree that the subs are a bit weird. I did hear that they used ai for them, so that could be the reason
That's very bad. As I understand from the comments, the jokes and word plays are probably the only good thing about this series (aside from TutorYim, of course). And they ruined even that, because they used AI for translation. I hope they will reconsider and add a proper translation later on. But, seeing how many people are dropping the series, I guess GagaOOLala / the producers won't do it.
The comments keep saying that the plot doesn't make sense... Me myself here understand that argument as I watch…
I hope you will enjoy the series, but, honestly: the first episode was ok and everything else after that just went down the hill. Each episode seems worse than the previous one to me. :(
According to MDL, this series has 12 episodes. But ep. 5 and 6 are just behind the scene. Does anyone know if the story will continue? Or are all the other episodes BTS?
I'm torn between a rock and a hard place. I don't know whether I should drop this or keep going as I really love…
Same here. I skipped almost the entire 4th episode. If not for TutorYim, I would have dropped the series already. Plus, like you, I was hoping for good NC scenes (not only because of CaB, but also because I've seen TutorYim's NC scenes in "Battle of the Writers"). I have no idea what's happening or if the version on GagaOOLala is the cut one, but the NC scenes are missing. They build up tension and then just drop the entire thing and move on to the next scene. So, basically, aside from seeing TutorYim, there's no reason at all to watch the series. Each episode is worse than the previous one. :(
My theory: Barth and Tanrak are together/married. The friend whose ordination Barth is attending is actually Kongdech. I still have to come up with a good reason why Tanrak is not there, too, but I guess he's just coming late. Don't spoil my phantasy about B&T still being together! :))
Yes, it's the same director. Interestingly enough, he also directed "Bed Friend", one of the first BL series I watched and that I liked a lot. I found "Playboyy" a bit better than people say: it was baaaad during the first episodes (mostly the acting), but got better later on, in my opinion.
The director seems to like exaggerated "cute" or childish characters. Besides turning TutorYim into caricatures in "The Middleman's Love", he also directed "Secret Crush on You", a series that would have been decent - if not for the very annoying portrayal of the character Toh. That made the series just cringe.
