This might be an unpopular opinion. I kind of wished ML had stayed dead. Like its just was so unsatisfying. After all the tears and heart ache and all FL went through, and it felt like he just waltz in.
But I kind of suspected when ML physician left rather than staying to help FL.
What I did not expect was it will take 4 episodes (which is 4 years) long for him to appear. Even through the rebellion, I thought he would pop up. After I have moved on and accepted it and suddenly boom he is alive....
At least the special episode kind of explained things....
Finally watching this. On EP 15. Wow, Zhang Du, Zhang Du. Like, seriously, I totally don't understand what he is thinking. But kind of serves the ML father right; he preferred Zhang Du over his own son... When he was always comparing them....Sigh..Still feel bad for him, though. Hope he wins the competition
When Xiao Fang announced she was no longer getting married. I shed tears because I wish I were as courageous as Xiao Fang. I wish we would all be as courageous as she is and do what we feel is right, irrespective of what society and community say...
This drama is actually SO GOOD. I didn't expect to like it so much. The wait for the next eps is killing me.
I know right. I started watching it with no exoectations and partly because of ML. And I have to say this is so so good. Wish more people could watch the drama.
Okay.....Zhang Du has begun to annoy me. With his ancestors talk, 108 steps in making paper and revival of Xuan traditional paper... He reminds me of one character from a vertical Cdrama I watched, where because he is a scholar he wont accept money and said he will survive on air....hahaha.....
Even though we all feel bad for Ha Xia. I feel bad for Hai Lou. He has to bear everything at the end, just as Wan Ma said: the one left at the end suffers the most.

It's still a great drama
I didn't expect to enjoy this drama but it is good. Should anyone want to watch it.
