Fun watch, however many plot holes which unravel on the last episode. Main Villain whole motivation for doing bad deeds is so unnecessary...
He works for best medical centre, with the best medical practioners who practice a secret medical art. Instead of asking them to heal his son, he murders them and is trying to steal their Secret Medical Art to give to an Unknown Villian who says he can heal his son? (Which we find out only in the last episode).
Meanwhile MC heals all sick people he encounters, but doesn't heal FL's father or even attempts to??
All this time MC's master alive, and shows up at the end? Where were you when everyone was dying? lol.
There's hope but isn't One Piece like one of their biggest live action Netflix or anyone has ever done lol. Pretty…
True OP is a bigger IP. SL has been building popularity though. Novel was popular and its popularity only increased with the Manhwa adaption. Then it became one of most popular Anime (A dull cash grab in my opinion). So theres that lol.
With so many Romance/Detective Stories, this was a refreshing change! A Cultivation Drama that focused on Cultivation! Can't wait for Season 2, and hopefully more dramas like this.
what do you mean lazy work? the anime was literally the most popular
I expect animation/live-action to improve the viewing experience or at least bring the written work to life.
The Webtoon/Manhwa did that very well, with the art, details and the panels it chose to depict. You were engrossed, excited and felt the action and emotions as you read through it. This is also after many re-reads.
The Anime had many more panels/frames/sound to work with, but it felt like they just added all those frames to milk the series over several seasons. There was no weight to them. The action scenes, events, character introductions, did not have any impact. It was animated for the sake of animating it cashing in the popularity of the IP.
Yes it is very popular, though i'd argue it is because the number of quality anime's are on the decline.

Pacing seems rushed in this last quarter...
Damn you cliff-hanger!
There some hope, since Netflix did One Piece quite well.

MC had bullman on ropes but decided to let him duel Spear guy first instead of finishing him fast. Waiting for them to transform.
Seniors Having a heart to heart conversation in middle of raiding the enemy base lol. Red flag.
MC was still suspicious of Emperor but didn't even voice his concern via voice transmission. Noone could detect he was a cultivator?
Reminds of that small plothole few episodes back where Mentor Wu died, cause MC didn't have Pills on him, when he ALWAYS does. LOL.
Love the series, but hate it when productions put in plotholes to create drama.
