I put this in a spoiler because I'm not sure if it spoils things people already know about. The "sexy" scene though was oof but the thing that got me was Tang Yi kissing Shao Fei's scar, I know he blames himself (when it was his idiotic sister) but when he kissed that scar I bawled! As someone with scars myself, I've pictured that moment in my head for years. That was the sweetest gesture so far. A good aw moment ♡
I don't know how to feel about the ending, I shipped them together yes but why was she so obsessed about getting married that she missed the whole inbetween bit of dating them first? Like wouldn't it be better for both of them if they dated first, get to know more about each other and then married and not jump straight to marriage just because she's in her 30s? A woman can't have a partner without not getting married?
She has 3 choices: Her cousin, A young student, An older guy a bit older? (I'm guessing) So the choices are what some people might call controversial or taboo? How interesting! Haha.
Yeah it is double standards, there are many Japanese movies/dramas with teacher-student relationships and when the genders are changed no one says anything but now it's a female teacher it's worse? Don't understand
I felt weird watching this at the start like it felt like me and it made me think "ah so if I was pretty I'd get everything I ever wanted" and it made me feel more ugly. As the story progressed it made me realise how being what society thinks as pretty will not make you happy, I feel content with that. It made me feel bad about my childish behaviour as a youngen bashing a girl group because they had obvious plastic surgery, they just wanted to be happy.
