It is absolutely 100% a queer story. To say a story without kissing can’t be considered queer is childish and…
I don’t know why you guys are barking at each other like dogs 🙈.
I understand both of your opinions. It truly isn’t a “normal” BL, or anything close to that, and you can’t even really say it’s close to a typical queer story.
But I guess the point is that the series never wanted to be any of those things. Its themes are much broader: love, friendship, deep feelings for each other, regret, loss, and life in general.
So I totally get it if you expected things like romance, cuddles, or even kisses between the two main actors for it to feel like a real queer love story or BL. But please don’t be so harsh and reduce it to a “straight” story just because the actors don’t do anything overly romantic or “gay” on screen.
I just think the series was never intended to depict gay love in general. It was more about life, struggles, emotions, hardship, and much, much more.
But yeah, I understand both of you, and I totally get it if you couldn’t really connect with it 🙌.
i actually put it on on-hold for nearly a month cuz i didn't see the premise like how A Breeze of Love had done…
So am I right that he saved him but only in another universe and in "his" timeline A Y is still dead? But if thats correct, what happened to the X in timeline B? Is there another X. I'm confused, please help meee 😂🫶.
It wasn't that bad, but the ending... what were they thinking? 🙄
Doing 69 mimutes and leaving no space for a proper ending? Even 4 more minutes could've been enough. There should be a remake and no vertical streaming 😅.
They are both good in their own way. The series takes the story a bit further. The actors of the series do an outstanding job, and overall, the chemistry between Kohei and Taichi in the series feels significantly more natural and convincing.
Regarding the different storylines: No, at its core, both tell the same story — the only difference is that the series continues it further.
So this is on my list to watch but someone correct me if I’m wrong…don’t both actors no longer speak?
You mean with each other?
I found this: It turns out there is a grain of truth in the rumour—but it isn’t because they hate each other. Both Chris Chiu (邱宇辰) and Kurt Huang (黃宏軒) have said that since filming wrapped they’ve simply been busy, so their last one-on-one chat was “about a month ago.” They stressed there’s no bad blood—just different schedules and plans, and they still speak when they can and “are still good” with each other.
But yeah, watch it if you have it on your list, it's a good bl 😘
Wow, that was simply amazing. The acting was incredibly well done, and the story —especially for me as a child of divorce— was extremely relatable in so many situations. Well done!
I don't know what to say... The series was all over the place.
SPOILER: 3 sons, every single one of them gay... A story gets built up, dialogues are delivered, but everything—literally everything—stays on the surface.
No romance, horrible dialogues, and weird relationships.
I gave the series a 5/10, but even that feels too generous.
I’d really like to know why it still has such a high rating.
I gave the series a 10/10. Normally, I'm sparing with such a "perfect" rating, but the portrayal of pain, love, and the fear of losing someone forever was so incredibly authentic and hit me right in the heart.
It confronts you with your own mortality, and I don't want to imagine how I would break if my boyfriend were to suddenly leave my life.
Nevertheless, it's important to reflect on these things because everything is transient, and everything comes to an end.
The message of the series is incredible, and the story had the perfect length.
I'll probably still feel sad over the next few days and shed a tear or two. But just as it struck me in the heart, the series also offers hope—hope to never give up, even after difficult changes and blows of fate. Thank you to everyone who was involved in this ♥️.

Anyway, BIG LOVE AND KISSES to you guys 🫶😋.

Gonna head to the Thai version now. Let's see 🙈.
Really enjoyed warching it.

So should I skip watching it?

The theme was something different for a change — it almost felt fresh. All the actors did a great job.
A second season or more/longer episodes would've been perfect.

I had no expectations and am blown away...
