I prefer to see it as a virtual world and overlook the inconsistencies, otherwise i'll lose my "immersion" too 😅

the sets are real, the glasses just add extra visual effects for immersion’s sake!
Unrealistic, game world is huge and FL would have seen the players wearing the glasses when she entered the game. Dumb writing that's all.

Especially since the story is more like a walk down memory lane and not entirely focused on their final reunion.
